48:09, okay, so it seems like you won't like this song overall, but I'll at least explain what I was doing with it, and why I won't change things (at least for now). This song is essentially my version of Deadmau5 - Cthulhu Sleeps. The idea behind both that song and my version is how much you can vary the sound by just automating the synth and its effects and wave tables despite using the same notes continuously. It IS extremely repetitive, but that's the point! You get a little something different each few notes despite the pitch, length, and rhythm being the same! As for both the bass and the drums, it took me SO much time and effort to get those sounds to where they are now, ESPECIALLY the bass. I had to redo the main bass patch like what, four or five times before I finally got something I like (what you hear now)? It was exhausting but worth it. The drums are also mixed intently to the bass I made, so if I did want new ones, I'd have to start the whole process all over again, which I don't want to do, especially since I like the sounds I made. 😊 Lastly, those "sounds at the end/effects at the end" that you like, they're actually the main bass sound held down for dozens of bars and having an XFer LFO Tool rhythm slowly being automated over time. I REALLY wanted to make my own version of the amazing and iconic segment from Deadmau5 - Cthulhu Sleeps where the main sound just pulsates until it speeds up to an absurd degree and eventually comes crashing and slowing down. It took me DAYS to just make the pulsating rhythm alone, and a few MORE days on top of that to get the background sounds you hear right. To summarize, I'm extremely proud and happy with what I have so far, and with the song most likely shaping up to be unapologetically more than ten minutes long, I really hope other people will enjoy it! 😁 ❤️ 🖤
