I come back to this performance regularly. It goes without saying that Pete Sandoval was legendary and this is a difficult drum track to perfectly nail. The fact that Tim is able to do exactly that playing live, but so cleanly, says it all ... and whilst incorporating his signature showmanship. God tier.

The fucking GROOVE....Pete was phenominal. Credit to Tim for nailing it. Playing it is difficult enough. The level of genius it took to come at the song with that approach and make it seem effortless...I remember hearing this track for the first time and feeling pity for all of the metal drummers not named Sandoval.

Yeah there's been a lot of controversy but to me the point of matter is: Pete is legend. No one is Pete. Just as well as no one is Tim. Tim is not Pete, and can't play Pete's shit the way he did. No one but Pete can. But nor can Pete play Tim's shit the way he does. Hence Tim is the only one who could at least get close to Pete. So yall haters can rot. He's the only one who can fill and NOT TRY HARD to do it. End of line.
