i ran "The Park" a few years up till it closed, im one of them people that never went back after that, the night of the last race, we stayed up in the upper pits till about 2am just talking and having a few beers..

I was working on a strictly stock the same time Todd started. Got to chat with him quite a bit back then, as we’re about the same age. I’m surprised Todd didn’t mention how all the strictly guys (and gals!) had a completely different pit area than the rest of the divisions. Now THAT was a tight knit group because of that!

ill never forget watching gee perry and todd in the late models side by side for all most the whole race wile standing in the center of the track by the wreckers. i used to park my enduro cars at the storage unit next to the bar . nothing better than coming threw that x wide open having cars coming at you.
