One of My favorite childhood TV shows. Till date I love this. I wish this still continued. This was appropriate for or easy to understand by any age group, from children to old age. I have a 5 year old son who doesn’t know or understand our Indian cultures or languages but he too loves the surabhi title music, dances to it and these days trying to sing the akaars in the music. People still love you n Renuka ji and your surabhi. Please start back again!

Watching this took me down through memory lane . Perhaps the golden era of Doordarshan news and programming. Transformed from black and white TV to colour TV itself was such an experience. Siddharth Kak ; Komal GB Singh and many others reading English news and Harish Bhimani ; Sarita Sethi ; Salma Sultan reading Hindi news . Late Smita Patil used to read Hindi news initially from Bombay Doordarshan . Surabhi ; Rajani ; Humlog and many more entertaining programs. Yes , those were days of Doordarshan glory because private channels hadn’t made an entry .
