Indians in Germany will face challenges under CDU/CSU policies, like stricter immigration rules, tougher family reunification, limited dual citizenship, and fewer diversity initiatives. Also, job market discrimination and higher tuition fees for non-EU students can be issues. While CDU/CSU focus on economic stability, their policies might not always favor immigrants. For us SPD, Greens and FDP is more favorable. Otherwise spend ages waiting in the line for Verlängerung 😅

CDU also doesn't focus on economy, their track record that proves they are bad for the economy. They led German govt for 16 years, and the result is stalled economy, broken immigration system, and lack of adoption of technology. They also want to make it harder to get naturalisation and arbitrarily defined what being integrated means. So more years of living in fear, insecurity and instability while praying more taxes and no rights.

@@AnonymousAnnoyer2 it was 24 years ago that doesn't mean the party and it's ideology has changed in any ways. Discrimination and racism remain one of the core ideology at the party. This is clear based on the fact that they don't see all people equally as proposed through their new changes in naturalisation. It is nothing but repeatation of the same racist policies. And I'm not to even mentioning their other policies which include anti-women and anti-queer. Interesting how you resort to personal attack on me to justify someone else's racist ideology. CDU wants to make naturalisation very difficult to impossible (as if it already wasn't) by extending the years of stay to minimum 8 years from 5 years, which would easily be 10 years because of the bureaucracy, plus they have unknown and arbitrarily defined definition of "integration" and what is being German means. Last time someone tried to define this as this arbitrarily was in 1938. With their new proposed changes, one would need to 10-15 years to get naturalisation. Basically, they want to deny rights for people for who are socially and economically equally or more contributing members of the society than an average German. Under the new changes, one can learn languages, integrate into the society, make more contributions to the society than an average German, yet will be denied same rights as a German based on completely arbitrary criteria. Why do you think it is appropriate for someone to be second class resident and a doormat to an arbitrary elite class? Why should one pay higher taxes, for years and years and do more for the society yet have no rights, live in constant insecurity, fear and face discrimination? FYI, the American revolution was because of the fact that they had to pay taxes, yet had no rights and say in governance. Having a say in governance is fundamentally essential to a contributor of the society and the CD/CSU wants to take Germany into the 20th century by denying that right. The proposed changes not only are discriminatory but, it will make Germany even more struggling economically and fall behind further just as they did during their conservative, right wing and racist policy based ruling over the 16 years.
