Dear Sir (Vikram Gowdrae and your team), Hats off to shoot and share this wonderful Vlog. At the outset, we would like to congratulate your entire team for your hard work and dedication and passion. Many thanks for doing this very unique Vlog. SIDDIS ARE OUR NATIONAL TREASURE AND IT IS OUR DUTY TO PROMOTE, PRESERVE AND RESPECT THEIR CULTURE, TRADITON, SKILLS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO OUR SOCIETY. Our Comments: The Siddis of Karnataka (Kannada: ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಳು) (also spelled Siddhis) are an ethnic group inhabiting India. Members are descended from Bantu peoples from Southeast Africa that were brought to the Indian subcontinent as slaves by Portuguese merchants and Arab traders. Additionally, analyses of the uniparental (Y-chromosomal and mitochondrial DNA) markers indicate that the Siddis trace their ancestry to Bantu speakers from sub-Saharan Africa. NATURE DOES NOT LIE. Y Chromosome present in male gender only and it will not change and passed on directly from father to son. Mitochondrial DNA will not change and passed on only from MOTHER to both son and daughter. Therefore mapping of both Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA has been extensively adopted by science to identify the lineage (ancestral tree / pedigree) of any group. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siddis_of_Karnataka www.focusongeography.org/publications/articles/siddi/index.html stories.minorityrights.org/afro-descendants/chapter/photo-essay-the-siddi-of-karnataka/ minorityrights.org/minorities/siddi/ www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3135801/ Where RED ANTS are eaten: RED ANTS ARE VERY IMPORTANT SOURCE OF CHEAP ORGANIC PROTEIN PROVIDED BY NATURE. 1. RED ANTS. RED ants are consumed in China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Thailand, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. They’re called weaver ants because they weave the leaves of living trees with silk to form their nests. Taste: Lemony, vinegary, or sweet-and-sour, respectively. Formic acid is a natural compound produced by RED ants (sting) from the with multiple functions, such as alarm, recruitment, trail marking, microbe inhibition, and defense against predators 2. Leaf-cutting ants. Leaf-cutting ants are especially popular in Latin American countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and Brazil. 3. Honey ants. Honey ants are commonly consumed by Indigenous communities in Australia. They’re also called honeypot ants because they use their stomachs to store honey to feed their colony in times of scarcity. 4. Black ants. Black ants are typically consumed in China and Kenya. Red ant eggs are cooked in types of food such as Spicy Raw Ant Egg Salad. Because they contain acetic acid, red ant eggs are used instead of lemon juice or vinegar in many Thai dishes. www.bbc.com/travel/article/20200708-could-eating-ants-help-us-live-longer www.healthline.com/nutrition/eating-ants#popular-dishes SMOKED MEAT or DRIED MEAT: (USUALLY USE VARIETY OF SPCIES, SALT AND SUGAR DURING DRYING OF MEAT AND THEY ACT AS NATURE PRESERVITIES) Smoked meat is the result of a method of preparing red meat, white meat, and seafood which originated in the Stone Age Era - OUR ANCESTORS. Smoking adds flavor, improves the appearance of meat through the Maillard reaction, and when combined with curing it preserves the meat. When meat is cured then cold-smoked, the smoke adds phenols and other chemicals that have an antimicrobial effect on the meat. Smoked meat was actually made the early voyages by Colonists (Westerns) successful. No Smoked meat then there is no food during voyages on ship for many months. BACON, SUASAGES, HAM ARE ALL NOTHING BUT SMOKED MEAT AND SO POPULAR ALL OVER THE WORLD. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoked_meat

Continuing from part 1, this part continues with the same intensity and consistency.. Lot of patience and painstaking effort in your endeavour is evident.. It's like a mini version of some of the documentaries we see on Sony BBC earth and similar channels... Very brief but informative.. Taken care not to bore the viewer ... I feel you could have added 5 more minutes(about their lifestyles ) in the end about the tribe and not end it abruptly .. But overall like the previous part, TOP NOTCH. I'm sure you'll expand into areas beyond food.. And the very best of luck for that... Both Vikram and Harsha (from whatever little is seen) exhibit patience and a pleasant demeanour which is of utmost importance to expand to greater heights.
