Bupropion doesn't "produce" any neurotransmitters. It doesn't affect adrenaline. It's a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Adrenaline and norepinephrine are two very different substances. Norepinephrine causes vasoconstriction (blood vessels to constrict) and also increases heartrate. That is why many find caffeine in combination with bupropion to be overstimulating, especially as regards heartrate and/or anxiety. I am not trying to be rude. I appreciate you sharing your experience with this medication. I just felt the need to clarify some inaccuracies. I wish you the best! :)

sooo my dr put me on this for my major depression and i even told her about smoking cannabis and how it helped so much with my depression. i was on lexapro but it stopped working for me. i hope to feel normal again with this pill! THANK FOR THE INFORMATION! very helpful!

I’ve been taking Wellbutrin 150XL for 1 week. I drink 1 large Starbucks every morning. I was getting massive chest pains and one day I almost fainted. Went to the Doctor for EKG. All good. It was the coffee. Switched to decaf and drink lots of water.

I am on day 11 and i started noticing yesterday chest pain and i became concerned. My doctor has me on 150ml 2x a day and i didnt take my second dose because i wasnt sure if it was safe. i woke up today day 11 and took my 1st dose and again chest pain its not major but its there and its all day long. Did your chest pain eventually go away? the first week i was drinking so much water because my dry mouth but this week i havent and im wondering if that has something to do with it.

Hated it after two months had to quit , would cause weird dissociation and lethargy then panic and headaches and anxiety like extreme , this feeling of not able to relax in my body , only on 150mg XL rapid heart rate could feel my heart beat in my head

I’m still using the same cocktail lol! , I’ve switched to the brand name Wellbutrin VS generic Bupropion and noticed a difference in quality, I use generic sertraline, my dose of sertraline is tiny, only 25mg , and using 300mg of Wellbutrin XL once daily, I’m doing amazing and I never intend stopping the Wellbutrin but I do plan on removing the sertraline in the next year. I feel so tired after this medications and nightmare every night,Feel something is wrong or causes pain in my brain ,I eat more now because I got more tired and even more deppressed ,but I didnt gain any weight. I Feel just as suicidal than I did before this medication

I WISH someone can tell me why I GET TIRED on this medication? AFTER, AFTER taking it I need to lay down and sleep for 1 hour. I wish I was jacked up like miss wackadoodle in the video. i have been on it for 4 months 200mg. I dont want anymore it only makes me more tired.

Dear Amanda Thank you for sharing your extra with this medication, and opening a discussion about it. You're very brave for that. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced being easily agitated or irritated when beginning or when increasing the dosage? I feel great for the most part, I just feel on edge at times. Mostly when increasing dosage. Does anyone else?

Do you have balance issues or blurry vision with the medication? It works wonders for me but these side effects are horrifying and this is why I got off it 6 months ago :(

I can’t see out of my right eye and put on weight with it. I have very high blood pressure because of it. I got a new Psychiatrist and first visit he told me to stop cold turkey. I was on bupropion 100 mg ER once a day because twice a day Made me to tired.

@@mistyrestivo5061 so weird how everyone has different side effects :( I hope yours subside :( I was on it for a year then got off for 5 months and the balance issues continued… it works like a charm for me but effects my eyes and balance greatly. I cannot drive like this and I’d like to get my license soon.

@@kaylatotten6075 honestly I think I should of been off it a long time ago. My old doc and councilor thought I had depression but the new doc seemed to think I don’t. I had some post pardon depression after I had my twins and then a nervous break down. It never helped me. I put weight on and can’t even eat. Blood pressure was high and can’t see out of my right eye. I just hope the withdrawals won’t be bad. Doc said I should be ok.
