My first time using it and I felt a slightly burning sensation. And when I say slightly, I mean like on a scale from 1-10 it was a 1. But didn’t have any effects from it all. I don’t plan on using often because I already found a vegan bar of soap I absolutely love from the dollar tree that I use often and the only soap I use. But I’ll continue to use black African soap from time to time.

I use black soap and have been using it for years. I l like it adn it smells so clean! I use it occasionally...not everyday. I only use it if I get an acne breakout or a rash which I get every spring and summer from the pollen. It clears up the rash (or acne) ver,y very nicely. I am definitely a fan.

Please if it is burning your skin, u need to stop using it at once, it’s probably the lemon that’s making it burn , u shouldn’t add lemon to your black soap , u have to discard the soap and probably make a new batch

I like the dry but fresh feeling i experience when i use black soap. So as i normally do i over used it. I started washing my face 3x in one instance. The result was were burned/slight but unnoticeable peeling. I still use it but i dont over do it as before.

Hi, I am struggling with hyperpigmentation and dark spots from acne, I have been told that black soap helps but since I started using it the area near my mouth is very dry, it burns and it seems like it is peeling and it is a little dark, Now I have stopped using it and I am moisturizing my skin with Shea butter. I would like to know if it will go away soon and if there is a way to use the soap to heal my skin without destroying it

@ I only use the soap to clean my face deeply, I keep it on my face for less than a minute, they told me to melt it and add oil of my choice, do you think that if I do that it will be better?

U should probably stop using it for the main time , also what is the percentage ratio of each ingredient you added ?
