Kai I really appreciate this, but how do I do myself now, I use to boil hibiscus and add the extract, which I have just done again. So I’m thinking maybe I could just strain the excess out and just pray it doesn’t smell like this o 🤦🏻‍♀️

I totally disagree with you. You can add water in pure african black soap. It will still foam and wont stink. May be that black soap was not PURE. I add water in my soap all d time and it is still ok

Thank you for the info, but it’s a diff thing when u add water to plain blacksoap without other active ingredients and it’s another to add water when making a formulation with active ingredients. But it is what it is , this is my own opinion and what I have discovered…it’s not a professional advice so if it works for u , that’s really great

Really? Well from experience, I know raw fruit and veggies turns into unwanted and rotten particles in your soap , thereby causing odor

The only way I was able to rescue a soap from the smell was using bentonite clay...it absorbs sulphric gas
