Former Guardian Cyndi has begun a new chapter of her life, setting out into the unpredictable world of Lore, but she isn’t going alone. Yaron, a 9ft lizard man with a terrifying appearance but thoughtful mind, is prepared to follow her lead as well as lead her on into her new career as a free-sword. What shall be their first job as a team?
Created by Dan Wolff, Side Questers is a fantasy adventure series following the adventures of Cyndi and Yaron as they explore, and become ever more important parts of the vast fantasy world they inhabit.
Side Questers is a fantasy story grounded in character, atmosphere, mystery, and humor wrapped in a vibrant world of cultures, creatures, and magic. It inhabits a rich world of adventure like Andrew MacClean’s Headlopper, and proceeds as a series of stories, akin to Mike Mignola’s Hellboy, focusing on solid stand-alone stories to advance the overall plot of the series. This is a comic for fans of Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, character-focused storytelling, and old-school sword and sorcery with a modern and grounded twist.
Issue 9 and 10 of Side Questers begin a new story arch for the heroes involved, beginning with our heroes preparing for and venturing out on their first mission as a team.
