Side car racing has been around for decades, however motocross not so as long here in the states, but has been around in Europe since the early 70's! It is a Blast to watch for Sure!

I'm also 55 and never seen nor heard of this. It makes sense though as this is real man stuff and the agenda of our oppressors is to turn us all into little girls. I honestly don't know how those guys are able to catch such air because their giant brass balls should theoretically be too heavy for any motorcycle to get airborne.

Mate.. I lost both legs in a work accident I got electrocuted by 19,000 volts 3 times in a row I should be dead like 8 times from it and 5 years later, I race motocross and desert racing on two wheels and getting ready for land speed records.. I’m not alive unless I’m nearly dead… 😊

Good grief. I have seen a very little of sidecar road racing, but hadn't even thought of sidecar motocross. It's difficult to see how the passenger could hold up to this much hard, fast work. My hat is off to the passengers and the drivers. I had to watch this. Some of the most interesting racing I have ever watched. All of that said, the skill and courage it takes to do this has to be great. Great video, also. Thanks.

@@710earl i should have written the Europeans will race anything and elevate it to a multi-national championship level....here in the US...well i was a mechanic for a while in a motorcycle salvage yard in Ohio that took in commission jobs...from a Honda Valkyrie engined Ford 8N tractor conversion to a turbocharged road racing lawn mower to a Kawasaki Z1 powered garden tractor puller to a 50% nitro burning wheel chair....turned a wrecked Ducati 851 into a wicked spiked tired ice racer, several hill climbers including one that was a sportster engine shoe horned into what started out as a honda 450F....a Yahama RZ350 powered skate board...several sorts of drag quad with one being a TZ750 stuff in a banshee chassied sand rail.....don't get me started on th go carts, some people willmstrap their asses into ANYTHING....think I have been paid to put more people in the hospital than Mike Tyson...

We used to watch sidecar MX at Saddleback Park USGP back in the 70s. It was so cool! That was Orange county California.

They didn't ban them in the US a lot of companies stopped making them and the four strokes came in and they allowed the four strokes double the engine size. But there is no ban in the US on two Strokes

Who came up with this This is the coolest type moto I've ever seen This takes skill on both riders but huge balls to the rider in the sidecar as he can't really control the rider's throttle,brakes,etc I wouldn't even attempt to participate but would love to spectate a live event

Ya' buddy - I had a friend I rode with in a bike club. His son took two Montana state championships ~ 125 & 250 cc motocross that was fun. This takes the cake away from that, a damn good time was had by All there and here too 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😄👀💬Yup❗ G~G.

Sidecar MX was part of the original MX scene in Europe. MX itself came from the WW2 messengers who started to time and race from place to place. That included sidecars, hence....
