Can you share the diagram or blueprints, of the sidecar?

I didn't ever make any. I just made it up as I went along.

Curious if you know why so many people put a springer fork up front..I want something that can handle the bumps!
@KorysRides4 жыл бұрын
I think you're confusing your terms. A springer front is completely different from a leading link. People put a leading link front end on because you need to change the rake and trail when you have a sidecar period you can get away with stock forks, but it won't handle very well.

How did you make the front end of your sidecar? I am thinking of taking a trailer and putting a 55 gal. plastic drum on it to use as a trailer for my dogs. I have ridden sidecars for years and they do have characteristics for driving them that can easily confuse a motorcyclist or electric bike operator. You really have to learn to lean when making turns to the right. My Ural Troyka had a reverse, and you really need to know what you're doing when backing one up. I made a DIY pickle boat with a plastic oil drum in the past and they are strong, but lighter in weight than the metal drums. What did you use to do up the rims around the opening to the sidecar? Metal conduit? Thanks for posting this video. Put a dog into the hack and you will win a trophy all the time, even against expensive bikes, as the crowds always love a dog in a sidecar. ;-)

If you use milk jugs filled with water for weight counterbalance it's really easy. To cut down on the side car displacement

I ended up using some softener salt bags, but eventually sold the sidecar. Kids didn't like it anymore and I wanted my dirt bike to go off-road again

How’s the windshield holding up? Looks like it would cause a good deal of drag. And is that a boat seat in the tub? Considering options for my rig.

I haven't had the sidecar for years. Yes, boat seat.

How did you fixed the alaigment?

Link arms have threaded eyelets in the ends. Moved them in and out until it worked.

@@KorysRides am about to build one of these but ive heard that under different loads the toe-in varies, so im thinking on making a whole ajustable swing arm

and could either a small atv or smaller bike tire be better for over there?

@@freemaysin5088 not really. Needs to be able to go high speed, and easily replaceable for $20 or less. Parts available everywhere. No need for caps, I go for function over form

I'm curious about your seat. I just went on a 200km straight trip with my stock 250L seat and it truly kills. What kind of seat is that and how comfortable is it with long rides?
@KorysRides6 жыл бұрын
Matthew Morgan seat concepts. I live it. Did a 500 mile day and felt ok after. Way wider and more comfortable. I did a review of it a while back
