Lol KZbin has this thing where while you're scrolling to see what videos you want to watch, some of them play without any audio. The way Vic did the intro with his arms in the air, clapping them together, and then bringing them down, there was a GIF thumbnail below this video clip of Gandalf doing the whole, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" doing the exact same thing. There videos just used seem more genuine where as now a lot of the times it just seems forced and ingenious. Half of the time they make it too obvious that they don't want to do whatever they are doing, especially after Ethan admitted to have faked the first holiday video, now they just feel even more ingenious. I miss the old days when youtubers cared less about viewership and retention time and just seemed like they were having fun or at least they did a good job making it seem that way
