The main reason injuries in rugby are usually less severe is that from a young age there is soooooo much training on how to tackle properly and safely. A good few of the knockouts in this video are just from bad form in the tackle. I played as a kid and every session there was practice on safe tackling and how to avoid injuring other players. Also once you play for a few months, you stop feeling the hits and it just becomes normal
@BelfastSquid Жыл бұрын
yeah. While these tackles do happen, they're pretty rare as most rugby players can successfully avoid them

Yeah at pro level some tackles have the same collisions power as cars hitting walls at like 30 MPH and stuff due to the size and weight of the players..

Thank you for putting respect on rugby's name. Harry got it spot on with the injuries, just a bit of info protective headgear like they wear in American football causes more damage to the brain compared to the straight hits we take.

as a maori player who made it to the nationals side for rugby, this looks perfectly normal. you don't expect not to get injured when playing rugby at least once in your lifetime. it's funny to see how others who don't play or watch rugby react

I think this channel is really amazing and I'm very happy that it is growing, as a result of its excellent and important content! Congratulations for the excellent work and for bringing such unique and innovative content to the channel. Motivated by my interest in the computer field, with my friends I created a channel called Blind-Center, our goal is to encourage inclusion and improve accessibility for the visually impaired. We speak the Portuguese language.
