Well, after we'd gone on a few dates, she asked me over to her place because she needed to confess something. She was uneasy about it and hesitated. "I'm..." "French?" _"French?? How dare you!"_ I laughed, she laughed, the lightened mood helped her calm down and tell me what she needed to say. She was actually just coming out as bisexual (which I'd already suspected), but her reaction to being accused of being french was hilarious.

Something that is also worth mentioning is that dismantling France would have dismantled neither the French nor the Revolutionary spirit. The French would probably have rebelled and united soon enough, causing multiple other wars, which would have been very costly. Also, the ideas of the revolution had already spread throughout Europe, so the damage was done and dismantling France wouldn't have stopped the nationalist and democratic movements of the 19th century.

The Second French Empire was led by Napoleon III, who doesn't resemble the drawing. Also, he did not try to prevent German unification. The Franco-Prussian War resulted from Bismarck fabricating an insulting response to the French regarding the succession of the Spanish throne. The unification of Germany was a consequence of that war: all the German states united against a common enemy. However, it took several wars to lead to this moment, along with the sidelining of Austria. Finally, the Germans did not specifically occupy Versailles; they proclaimed the birth of Germany there as a way to humiliate France.
