It makes me so happy that her reaction to being noticed in public is to be excited and happy because it means people love her and her work and that she's super friendly about it. I just hope nobody invades her personal space or anything like that. Like, if you ever see someone you admire, please keep in mind, they are still a person, who likely does not know you, even though you know about them, and they have a personal life outside what you know them for. Be courteous and respect people's boundaries.

I once encountered a celebrity who came into the store I worked at and I had a similar interaction to the ones you’ve described. Except she was really shy and didn’t really want to engage. I love how humble you are. You could totally be like "well if course people recognize me, I'm an artistic diva!" But instead you're very gracious and appreciative. This is a big reason I enjoy your channel still, even as it's grown to *huge* (while I'm not an "old hat" subscriber, you hadn't reached a million when I first found you): you're still as friendly, slightly awkward and nerdy as you were then and haven't fallen into the trap of changing who you are. Funny true story that i was reminded of when you mentioned the "fly by". A few years ago I was at a store looking at something near a door. A young man said really quickly as he went out the door, "Your hair is beautiful". I am 60 & my hair is past my waist & silver.
