I love Conan's return to Marvel in Savage Avengers. that statue is badass! also love the Infinity Gauntlet oven mitt.

Thanks man. I'm digging the Marvel Conan stuff as well. Savage and Barbarian are some of the books I read first every month. It's an easy jump on point and it's cool to see him cracking skulls in an age of neutered heroes. Thanks for checking it out.

Extraordinary statue! You can feel the Rage of the beast reeking off them! I didnt know Conan fought Gorilla Grodd! The Flash better call Conan for backup next time! The Arnold sound effects had me cracking up! Haha Fantastic review!

Ha, thanks man. Glad you liked my Arnie impressions. I was having some fun. This statue is freaking big and beastly man. Super heavy and detailed. The paint shows its age a bit but In no way does it take away from it. I'm enjoying the older pieces while I'm waiting on preorders and you can pick em up cheap ish now days. Grodd might be a little harder for Conan but eventually, Conan would take his head. Ha. Thanks for checking it out man. I appreciate it.

😆😆 the Schwarzenegger sound effects. You know, I'm not really a huge Conan fan, but the first Conan film is a complete classic. My mom however wouldn't let me watch it though, because... Well you know why. 😆😆 Glad I had older cousins, who didn't care. That's how I got a chance to watch it. This is a cool damn piece Stir-Fry. Actually digging this piece. Got my first Conan piece last month. Old school Statue, but the sculpture reminds me of Big John Buscema's art style. Ironically, he was the long time artist on the Conan books with Marvel. Great review Bro.

Yeah man, Buscema is the king. So much good work on Conan and Savage Sword. I dig Barry Windsor Smith as well. When I was a kid the movie was my thing but over the last decade or so I've been really digging Conan more and more. I think it's the current comic climate that draws me to him. @@CentauriStirFry The Conan piece is From the Hard Hero manufacturer. Seth Vandable was the Sculpture. Got it off eBay, for a pretty good price.

Really nice Conan books, congrats on the Conan 1. That box is huge, it's like a monolith paying tribute to Conan. Dude that giant skull on the base is badass! I definitely see what you're saying about being hard to display, with Conan sort of around the back of the ape. Great sculpting on the beast's mouth. Very nice piece.

Thanks DS! I like that comment about the box. It is monolithic. This piece is special if you ask me but yeah it takes room to appreciate because of the pose. My favorite diorama to this day though. I'm very happy to own Conan #1. Love that book. I was eyeing his first story in Weird tales and that ain't happening. Very expensive but I may hunt down a later Conan story from that series. They have some great covers. Thanks again for checking it out.

You ever seen the film The Whole Wide World? It stars Vincent (Kingpin) d'Onofrio as Robert E Howard. Someone should make a statue of Ol' Robert E.. He was just as interesting as a person than anything he wrote about. He was pretty nutty! So I guess you can say he was a real hero!

Thank you. I agree, it one of Sideshow's best dioramas. It has great movement and action. It can be difficult to display but the concept is very unique. I would be happy with either version. Did the regular come with the same amount of switch outs? I wasn't sure about that. Anyway thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it.

Can't go wrong with Conan. No drama, plenty of logos and no remorse. Blade rocks as well. I finally picked up Blades first app a while back. Very happy. As far the juice goes it's usually nothing special sometimes Makers Mark and sometimes Beam. Thanks for checking the vid out. I love this piece.

ha ha you copy cat! yes its a awesome piece but you to have to display it at waist level and on a turn table..Be very careful dusting this as the paint is just flat paint that easily comes off on the beast.Funny review..

Ha, I had a feeling you would say that. I've been editing this garbage for a while now but I kept screwing it up. I really dig the pcs Conan you reviewed. I know it has flaws but I think it looks great. Thanks for the heads up on the paint.
