The Jersey is a much better colour on this issue. I keep getting told the pants are the wrong colour and the hat should be black . Hopefully trick or treat studios make one

A Freddy figure is a must have for any horror fan👍, I was barely a teen when these films came out and they scared the bee jeezuz out me 😂. I don’t have a sideshow figure but it seems to be well known they perhaps cut corners on the quality of the body which as you so rightly point out is not on at this price point. That said, once I set a figure in to a pose that’s pretty much it and as I don’t trust any figures to stand up unaided I always use a stand which as you so rightly point out again for f this guy is massively underwhelming 😞. However when all said and done the headsculpt is amazing and makes up for so much , certainly I’d rather have a great headsculpt and basic body than vice versa so overall a very welcome figure in the collection. Some truly amazing pieces coming in to your collection 🔥 exciting times ahead. Hope you have a great week ahead and as always mind how you go 👍

Thanks as always for your insights mate 👍🏻 much appreciated. I only have 4 Sideshow figures in the collection but all of them feel like corners have been cut somewhere, like you say its probably better to have a good head sculpt and poor body then the other way around. Ironically the Escape from New York Snake Plissken is the opposite, good body and outfit let down by a soft head sculpt. It would seem the Sideshow reputation is deserved unfortunately…I would expect better when they are charging the same as Hot Toys etc. Take care of yourself and happy collecting👍🏻

This was the figure that started my sixth scale collecting. Very dissapointed with the figure. Mine is exactly the same, loose joints, especially the waist. Terrible to pose and the sculpted, non removable hat is a massive let down. But we have to start somewhere!

@@stevecollinson3272 I can’t think of a better second figure to reestablish your faith in collecting🤣 An absolutely stunning piece the classic predator 🤩 Hot Toys at their best and still stands up today. It took me awhile to bag one but it was worth the wait….its that good even my other half likes it🤣

I have classic predator, predator 2, dutch with phicen body swap, machiko noguchi female predator, present toys blade, war story spawn, stallone shop rambo, stallone shop cobra, sideshow jason from freddy vs jason, trick or treat sam and all 3 threezero rambo figures. My wife has sideshow freddy, all 3 threezero rick grimes, carl grimes, daryl dixon, rocket racoon from guardians 1, both present toys terminator 2 and we currently have on pre order stallone shop debt collector rocky and deluxe edition training rocky. All started by the poor quality of sideshow freddy. Present toys are really improving and the blade figure is outstanding. Thanks for all the hard work you put in to bring us the videos. Its much appreciated.

I will make a potentially controversial statement, but I don't ever worry about the base body of my figures, ever 🤷‍♂️ Unless something arrives completely broken right out of the box, which I still typically don't worry about. I've deconstructed dozens of figures (maybe hundreds at this point🤔) and there hasn't been one that I couldn't fix, upgrade or swap. You shouldn't have to do that to a brand new figure, but I don't have the same expectation of a sideshow Collectibles figure that I would of a product made by Hot Toys 👏😎👍 Great unboxing and figure review 👍 Cheers 🍻

Thanks as always for your comments and supporting the channel its much appreciated👍🏻 Like you I’m not averse to body swaps and modding figures to get the look I’m after, it can be hugely rewarding and great fun👍🏻I only have five Sideshow figures in the collection but all of them have have had similar issues (not good at this price point) and I can see why they have the reputation they have with “out of the box” collectors.
