Thank you Katara! The guy who wrote the song said it wrote itself when he heard a counselor say something like that to a young lady who was dealing with addiction problems.

​@mamaasaiz Yeah the lyrics capture regret so well. Also that feeling that bad things, decisions, and feelings in your life can be inevitable. Even when you try to avoid them they just find a way. Makes sense that it was inspired by something related to addiction. It's such a difficult thing.
