What a killer video. I'm pretty sure that was the first complete, uncut footage of A-C. I'm an aviation photographer that has been frequenting SWC for a couple years now. Back on 1 October, I tried my hand at Bravo, which no one had done. It is a monster hike, and drive for that matter... an hour north from Isabella and then 2.5 hiking at 8500 feet... I was beat for several days afterwards. The bummer of it was that a storm rolled in on us, fast... and we had to book it. And we only had 2 aircraft come within the point. But hey... See ya in November hopefully at SWC. I'll be out there 3, 4 and 5 Nov. We are fans of AB and vapes ;) Keep living the dream brother.

WOW. can't thank you enough for this. I'm often one of those cars on 190. Hope to see you flyover the canyon sometime thanks for everything that goes into being able to handle that aircraft.

Stan Jones my town @ 2:38. It never gets old you guys flying over my house 500+ mph. One time I was shooting from a prone position just off the Kern river and squeezed a round off just as an F18 came over. He either circled back or told the next guy to buzz me because about 2 minutes later another came over me so low it stirred up dust. He couldn’t have been more than 50 feet off the ground. It was the greatest damn thing to ever happen to me. Lol

oh, one more....the MTR's are defined as 8nm wide corridors (at least that's how they're described to use as civilians). Do you have discretion to utilize the entire width of the corridor or are is the intention of the run to fly a very specific line throughout the run?

thx for posting, this is awesome. Do you try to maintain a certain speed during the run, or are you basically setting the power and letting the speed ebb and flow with the climbs/turns and descents? Any parameters for maximum/minimum height AGL and max speeds? In terms of logistics, is there any effort made to schedule the use of the MTR to deconflict the airspace, or do you manage it with comms in real time? Lastly, are these typically flown single ship or does it depend on the sortie? I've found lots of solo footage and just a couple of 2 ship clips so far.

I put this response up on KZbin and the SAME day F-18 Hornets buzzed the property around 1:30 pm and did 10 runs starting up high then dropping down to several hundred feet............it was sweet and I thought it was uncanny that after posting my response a few hours later they would show up. To you pilots.................................many thanks. Most likely it was for someone else's benefit, I was happy to witness it all. :)
