So you can use Mortarair vent with LP smartside? I looked at their website and they only cited examples using brick, stucco and Hardie. Not an expert, just acquiring info before I replace my homes board and batten siding (44 years old) this spring. LP smartside is one of my 3 finalists. I enjoy your explanations during your vids.

didnt you put up the scaffold backwards. ladders on wrong side?

I don't think there is really a backward or forward. With the walk through frames, you will almost always see the "ladder" side toward the building. In our case, we want that so we can set the outriggers at whatever height we desire. It's more of a masonry setup than what you will often see carpenters doing.
