I started watching because I wanted to see what another Swedish maker was making. Only difference is that I didn’t grow up in Sweden, only the birth into a Swedish family that immigrated to America and then migrated to Alberta Canada. I grew up with a passion for woodworking so I went to trade school and got my journeyman cabinetmaker ticket. At 62 I still love woodworking along with 3d printing and laser engraving. Keep it up absolutely love what you are doing. Mike Peterson from Chigwell Alberta Canada..

Du är en riktig inspiratör! Gillar blandningen. 😊

It might be common wisdom among KZbin creators that a channel needs to focus on one particular subject, but I for one enjoy the variety. I'd go as far as saying that I prefer channels where there is an element of surprise in what creators will come up with next. I would encourage you to continue tackling all kinds of projects, just as you've been doing so far.

It's interesting to me that so many people aren't interested in general "making," but want very specific niches, like either woodworking or leatherworking, but not both. I like maker channels that have variety as long as there's still quality craftsmanship on show. What matters more to me than what's being made is how it's being made, including the personality of the maker and the personality of the editing of the videos.
@michaelbraaten5 күн бұрын
Same here. I’m interested in any and all aspects of making, from various tools, processes, techniques, and projects. The storytelling on this channel is fantastic, and I get to see many different aspects of making within the content. I don’t understand how fickle/picky some viewers are. I might’ve come here for one thing, but I’m staying for all the different things that get presented.

I am absolutely a huge fan of your work, but probably an even bigger fan of the journey, the story itself. It gives more life to the project to see the inspiration, the highs and even the lows. I find your thought process fascinating and I am glad you are exactly where you want to be in your life. I think if you can figure out your dream, and then work towards that, it's a huge thing, maybe even the biggest thing in a person's life.

I watched the whole video laughing the whole time. It was like looking at a video of myself. Except that I haven't gotten around to creating a youtube channel. I also do logos, digital drawings, 3D sculpting, 3D printing, renovation, wood working, car fixing, gardening, programming, soldering, tattooing, sewing. You name it. If it's creative I'm in. And yes. I also collect vinyl records. 😂 Keep up the good work! When I'm done for the day with whatever project I'm currently doing I usually end up falling asleep in the couch while watching your or some other maker on KZbin.

What a great and inspirational video! What a journey you have been on. From teacher/vice principal, to a woodworker, leather crafter, 3d designer, furniture maker, and KZbin personality. Not to mention doin all of this while being a parent, husband, and now raising livestock as well! (btw your wife is awesome, not only in her support but also being side by side with you doing the hard and dirty work getting a house ready to sell, renovating a new home and helping in your videos. You guys seem like a great team.) You have a great eye when it comes to design and filming. It has also been fun watching you transform from a clean cut teacher into more of a creative Viking. As a 2nd generation American born Swede, you have helped me understand my quirks in personality. They are defiantly closer to your personality than other people in the U.S.. Always enjoy your dry humor and honesty about what you are feeling. Thanks for sharing this video. (BTW at the moment there are 10 downvotes. Seriously A**holes what about this video that makes you want to downvote it? It's just a man's story of his journey the last few years or so). Again thanks for sharing and I hope you continue finding yourself on this journey and wish you and your family a happy life.

I don’t comment on many videos but just wanted to say I love your content. I have a passion for 3d printing and woodworking and you do a great job meshing them when needed. My first video I think I saw of yours was your “camping trip” where you packed up some tools and headed out to camp and come up with something to make, ended up being a chair. Since then I have gone back and watch I think all of your videos. I am happy for you that you chased your dream and caught it! Good luck to you and hope to see many more wonderful videos not only in 2025 but lots of years to come. Happy making, happy printing❤

Well done!. I can relate. I stopped working as a painter(as in walls and wallpaper and such) after 20 years , cos I didn't think I could live of my art. I thought I am at least working with colors until my art catches on. Thing is, if you wait for something to happen it never will. Just do it. I moved from Norway to Italy, cos I found myself a gf there and we started our own company were we sell our art. We can now live of it, though the income is kind of up and down. Like your video shows, follow your passion and it will show in the things you make. And thank you, I learned a lot from this video on how to make my own, the do's and dont's. Keep your dream alive.

I am not in the 3D printing world, but that does not mean I don't enjoy your videos. I actually like the fact they have some variety. Thank you for sharing and telling your story. Now I need to go back and watch the leather woeking videos. I appreciate your low-key yet deep style and the stories you tell in your videos, especially in your "practical" 3d print/maker videos. How about a second channel for leather working?

Thank you for this video. It serves as both insight and inspiration! I'm working towards a similar goal as software development is slowly killing my soul.
