Your straightforward approach to journalism, with direct and often hard-hitting questions, has kept me engaged, and even when the conversations veered towards controversial subjects-likely for a catchy headline or a dramatic soundbite-I still enjoyed your show. However, with your recent interview, I believe you crossed a line. When a guest made comments about the Mithun Ji and Sridevi Ji, instead of steering the conversation respectfully, you allowed it to continue in a way that felt dismissive and insensitive. Sridevi Ji is no longer with us, and in moments like these, your responsibility as a host should be to uphold the dignity of those who have passed, especially considering the impact such discussions could have on their surviving family members. Her daughters, who are still very much in the public eye, don’t need to hear this kind of thoughtless speculation or commentary about their mother. Similarly, I found your remarks concerning the late Rajesh Khanna Ji’s personal life equally troubling. He, too, is no longer here to defend or clarify his choices. It’s time to move on from these matters, especially when they pertain to individuals who can no longer speak for themselves. What troubles me the most, Sidharth, is that you frequently speak very highly of your own family-your mother, your wife, and especially your daughter. Now imagine for a moment if someone were to dig into your past, bringing up personal details, true or otherwise, about your life. Would your daughter appreciate hearing public discussions about a past relationship that once meant the world to you? She knows you as her father and as the devoted husband to her mother, but delving into private affairs, especially in such a public forum, is unnecessary and harmful. You have a platform, Sidharth, and with it comes a responsibility. Please draw a line when it comes to discussing those who have passed away and can no longer defend their legacy. It’s not fair to them, nor is it fair to the loved ones they’ve left behind. Let's elevate the conversation, not for controversy, but for respect and dignity.
