This battle, along with the following Battle of Argos, is proof that even during the early Hellenistic period (323 to 214 B.C.E.), Sparta was still militarily strong enough to defend itself and wage war against other Greek states and non-Greek factions, and the same is also true for other Greek poleis such as Hellenistic Athens, Syracuse, and Massalia. And yet, ordinary people/non-historians believe that the Greek city-states were on the decline during this era. Anyways, excellent video👍!
