This film made me think of my best friend, who also my first love. I wept through much of it as I remembered our youth, and how devastated I was when he committed suicide (his father was a Baptist minister, and we could never be together). Ours was not a sexual love, but a physical one. I spent decades in anguish over losing him; even delving into random hookups, but all wanted was him back. It has been 34 years, and I am just starting to heal.

@markmh8354 жыл бұрын
Well, you first have to accept that he will never love you back the way you would want him to. To stay friends with him, he must never worry that you will try to get intimate with him. Then you must focus on the interests you have in common, the things that made you friends in the first place. Then, be sure to reach out to him routinely -- like once a week by text or phone call. Suggest getting together. And if you sense any hesitancy on his part, just explain to him he has nothing to worry about but you would like to continue the friendship as before. Good luck.

It's good and pain relieving to see a lgbt movie full of true love and joy but at the same it's so sad to see that we probably never gonna know that love, those moments of joy and sweet affections because it's just seen as a TABOO, as a SIN or the worst as a DESEASE around here. Being gay here, it's something u gotta keep inside urself, it's a huge secret u must keep from first your family, your friends and ofc the world you're living in, and simply act as if there's never existed another love than that between male & female unless you're ready to lose everything (including your life). Everyday is filled with fear and frustration. I personally wonder sometimes if i'll ever be able to love freely and fearlessly someone. Life can really be unfair 😥

Sam MATTHEWS OHSION My daughter came out when she was 15. The problem was not that I couldn't accept it, but that I want her to be happy, but she was not making it easy for her self. She has the support from her hold family and her friends, but she had to fight with her self esteem and her confidence broke in the process. She is doing good now, but I wish she could find a nice girlfriend. I found out in the process, that there are a lot more to it, than just coming out and admit what you are to family and friends. All the bad thoughts the person imagined can come true, but what do they do if it doesn't. Try the waters, ask questions about their opinions about homosexuality, not directly, but in passing, when they show a series's ore movie with couples of the same sex. If they don't show discuss, there is a chance that you can tell them, some day. But don't do it if you are scared of what they will say. You only hurt yourself.

I don't understand where this "fell in love with best friend" chatter comes from - that is not this movie. (Not a spoiler in the following quote - it's the premise:) "Sieger is training in the new athletics team for the national relay championships and meets the intriguing and unpredictable Marc. The friendship that develops seems nothing out of the ordinary, but Sieger secretly harbors stronger feelings for Marc. He engages in a lonely struggle with himself when it emerges that Marc is also in love with him." So, they are "friends" sort of - but really it's like going on the all-county team (or whatever) and oops, this guys that is super friendly to me is actually also gay and into me. A dream come true for many sporty, HS gay guys.
@xBINARYGODx4 жыл бұрын
Well the part where you try to ignore the guy you want so you can pretend to be straight and blah blah blah was not part of MY fantasy, but heaving forbid the movie just be about the relationship, because DRAMA! (and by that, I mean too many gay men actually hate themselves or at least have a lot of internal shame). And sometimes those sorts of people make movies.

I had one of those situations with my family. I can’t explain everything but just to say, now my family knows my children are fine with us and my dad before he died he told me that Randy could be here anytime and if others have a problem they can leave. The fact that you dumped stupid music over the dialogue and the only reason you posted this was to put ads all over it earns you a THUMBS DOWN

I love this movie', its well presented, well done guys. They are one together and a more important point, they are happy. A lonely and longing heart is the worst thing to live with. The movie leaves me feeling hopefully glad.thank you for making it.

WONDERFUL !! DIALOGE OHNE WORTE. Die Mimik spricht für sich selbst. BOYS auf der Suche zum eigenen sexuellen ICH.Widersprüche sind oft vorprogrammiert und schmerzlich. Die Musik hervorragend eingepasst! Man leidet mit. Was wäre die Welt OHNE Girls?? Dann gäbe es uns n i c h t.

I’m glad there was a happy ending, but we got no resolution scene. I really wanted to see a scene where Siegel apologizes to Marc and they make up before they go ride off into the sunset.

É sublime quando vc encontra a reciprocidade nos sentimentos e melhor ainda quando nas atitudes tudo se completa transformando dois corações em um só, mais forte e cada vez mais pulsando amor.

It was in Germany in the late eighties/ early nineties, when I was at this age. I wish, I would have had this experience, where I grew up, it was german countryside. That is a dream, really beautiful. I'm keeping it. Thank you for that.

To love another is never wrong. Sometimes the other is out of reach. Sometimes for good reasons. Then the pain has to be born. Often for no good reason.
