Hey there, I am the guy who painted the Crimsons Fists. Thank you for the Feedback, really appreciated. Will try to incorporate your tips in my next batch of Sternguard Veterans that are sitting on my table.

Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback guys 🤠👍 I really tried to work on brush control with the leviathan set so really means a lot you noticed. I actually have a 2nd leviathan box I will be starting soon and will definitely work on the advice you’ve given 🤠

Those crimson fists look amazing to me I know this is high level stuff, but they’re painted extremely well and look amazing, I’d be proud of that paint job if they were nine

I agree but I like the fact that they don't stop at the amazing appearance of the paintjob, and help that sub push himself to perfection !

This was really helpful. I’m at a similar standard to those featured and have hit a plateau, unable to figure out how to bring my painting to the next level. Really good insights 👍

I've only recently stopped using washes to cover everything, it was really eye opening. It's great to learn about volumes and reflections and all that stuff, feels like I've wasted years by just putting a wash on everything. Though, I do still use washes here and there, on small details, metallics and effects.

Disagree with the title of this video😅 washes are everything in my opinion…. But the thing people get wrong with using washes is that they don’t realise GW shade paints have a best buddy called lahmian medium. I never use a shade paint neat, always dilute with lahmian medium for amazing results!!

Yes, if you have years of experience, have plenty of free time to paint coat after coat, and you paint minis for a living, you don't need washes. All the rest of require the liquid talent that are washes.
