For the librarian, you could try white oil painted thinned down, the capillary action makes it super easy to get it in all the runes, rub off any mistakes on the upper armour after it partially dries, then drop in a turquoise thin ink/contrast paint for the glow

why just shade blue with dark blue, i would shade with a purple or a red-black. this way you dont just get contrast in value, you get contrast in value and in hue. in my opinion thats far better then the standard gw style and its more interesting to look at

It's a real shame what's happened to Vallejo. Corporate capitalism destroys everything it touches. They were acquired by a predatory private equity group and that's when the problems started. Vallejo workers have said they refuse to invest in equipment or even proper maintenance, and we should expect the paint quality to decline from this point on. What a shame, Vallejo were central to this hobby. Investors and execs are the enemies of everything we hold dear in life.

Any tips for not losing track of small details when painting? Also, how do you not sub-assemble? All of the Inquistion Agents have parts that would be impossible to paint fully assembled. Recently tried using a drill for barrels, and it worked well 😂.
