Loved the video!!! Liked how you were quizzing the FO with all the speeds. Know he's a student. Mind you , I'm not a pilot but a simmer and do fly your type of plane often. Wish we would have gotten the whole start up and taxi out and take off, even if it was dark. You have dash lights!!! LOL! Really Love your videos and the way you explain your whole flight in detail. If anything, these videos help us in quarantine to learn some stuff( simming) but mostly the entertainment that you give us! Thank You for taking the time to Take Us Along!!! May your family stay healthy and safe!!!!

Aha ! Fo needs to study more but he was confident on the radios and doing the checks, he can only improve and hopefully (most probably) will. Thx for sharing as always, love the KA :)

leonelp51 Yes, they do go through many hours of ground school so these are not unreasonable questions to ask. However, sometimes their ground school time was weeks ago so a refresher reminder is needed. So I try to challenge them and hope their friends catch on too. I want prepared students. Thanks for watching. I appreciate your observations.

Less than 300.

I am concerned that someone flying in the right seat obviously knows nothing concerning the airplane's operating limitations, even if he is a student. Or is he very new to your program and just basically along for the ride?

They do go through many hours of ground school so these are not unreasonable questions to ask. However, sometimes their ground school time was weeks ago so a refresher reminder is needed. I try to challenge them and hope their friends catch on too. I want to have prepared students and he obviously was not. On the next flight, he had everything committed to memory. Sometimes they just need to be called out to help motivate them to study and realize these things are important.
