I first visited Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2015.... I had spent a month in Thailand and the plan was to spend 2 weeks in Cambodia, 2 weeks in Viet Nam, then the remaining 2 weeks back in Thailand before heading back to the U.S.A.. I liked Siem Reap so much I extended my visa and spent 6 weeks there....I've since gone back 2 more times for a total of 3 1/2 months in total.... thanks for the video

Nice informative video. One small recommendation is to get to the temple complex at sunrise and beat the bus tourists. My favorite is Bayon temple at sunrise you'll be practically the only one there and the light (and lack of heat!) is amazing at that time of day. And I'll note that the water festivals are throughout SE Asia with the most famous actually in Chiang Mai in Thailand which is just as fun, but they are all great experiences.

They were fine at the ticket office and restaurant. I don’t think we used the restroom during the tour because it was 100 degrees 🥵 and we walked a lot. They get MANY tourists to Angkor Wat, so I would guess most are fine. John and Bev retirementtravelers.com
