Hello Jason waiting for your next video... When will you put the next video

I plan on going live in about 5 hours. It's been too long I know!

Hey jason thanks for such a wonderful video and making everything so clear. Is it possible to simulate it with PLC SIM or something so it will be more clear
@jasonwattsae8 ай бұрын
There is a newer drive simulation package that I haven't had time to use yet that would help. In the next motion livestream, I will be showing the concept of a virtual axis and we will be simulating it with PLCSIM.

Hello dear Jason You are probably so busy that you don't have a new Live Training. it's true?
@jasonwattsae8 ай бұрын
Yeah, I am at CNC training this week and I had to get a few projects finished up last week that prevented me from doing a livestream last week. I am planning on doing one Monday at the latest.

This is a SINUMERIK ONE commissioning class. We are working to become a machine tool solution partner, so we have a couple projects that we are working on with the ONE system.

Hello dear Jason Is there a limit on the number of motor modules for S120? Apart from the license issue, in other words: Let's say I have a 6-axis servo license on cf card Is it possible to have 6 motor modules for my servo motor? I have the experience of 6-axis servo motor in one device, though by 3 double module motors Or in another example, is it possible for me to have 12 motor modules in V/F mode? Thank you sleepless alireza
@jasonwattsae8 ай бұрын
Yes, there is a way to run 12 motors on one CU. They have to be in V/Hz, and you have to turn the processing speed down to XLow and the CU will be able to handle it. It is not based on motor modules however. It is based on the how hard the processor is working. The maximum number of Servo or Vector Axes is 6, that can be 6 motor modules or 3 double motor modules. If you turn the speed up, or add in extra functions (I plan on talking about them in the future) or DCC you might end up reducing that total number to 5 or 4. Go take a nap now...haha

@jasonwattsae8 ай бұрын
These would be great topics for Motion 102! I will Ave to learn a bit more about some though. I've only used the basic camming functions in the past so we will all be learning!
