Probably wrong and people will disagree but I have a feeling that Sienna & Brody's last embryo did work and Faith is biologically Sienna's and she is not just Faith's 'step-mum, adoptive mum'. If I'm right I reckon it will be revealed when Liberty's post-natal psychological problem are. Legally Liberty has the right to keep the baby and there has been no contract written or they have not a surrogate mother through an agency. So if the biological mother don´t want to give away the baby she doesn´t have to. And in the UK it is possible for a surrogate mother to keep the baby even if someone else was the intended parent from the beginning.

Esther was a surrogate for Grace and Trevor and she too tried to keep Curtis from them, but she then allowed them to have him. This is different. Faith is Liberty's biological child. She was going to have Sienna's biological child, but Sienna's last egg was not viable. Liberty thought Sienna and Brody could still have a child by sleeping with Brody and planning to let Sienna adopt Faith. However, she had second thoughts. Liberty has every right to keep Faith. It is not like she is unfit. Sienna should just back off and be grateful she has Sophie and Sebastian in her life again.

Except that it’s not adoption. It’s surrogacy, liberty willingly accepted to be Brody and Sienna surrogate and she was supposed to share 0% of blood with the child. But Sienna’s last egg didn’t take so Liberty said to Brody to have sex with each other for Sienna. And that’s how she happened to be faith « mother ». Honestly as someone who is 100% for assisted reproduction for couple who can’t have kids, that storyline pisses me off to a point and worse they keep doing that. They send the wrong message saying to surrogate that they actually have the right the take away a child from their parents. Nobody forced the surrogate, she gives her consent to carry a child for another couple.
