And here I thought the short-tailed shearwaters had a long migration going from Alaska to Phillip Island in Australia and making a stop near the Antarctic to feed before returning to Australia. I am forever in awe of such relatively small birds making such long migrations. You capture everything so beautifully in both your photography and videography. I love your storytelling as well; it's a perfect balance of time with narration and music to enjoy the scenery.

I used to monitor arctic terns as a park ranger. When they came to Florida they were so much fun to be around. They are incredible hunters and athletes of the sky.

They can *hover!!* Terns can hover...I didn't know that! They just tilt their upper wings back and forth in minute increments and Hover Mode is achieved. WOW! And they are sooo lovely, like Grace itself, in flight. What an AMAZING journey through Iceland...beautiful country! 💕😍❤

Thanks for this nice video from Iceland. I am Icelandic so I know some of the scenery. I also lived for more than 20 years next to where arctic terns would come every year in May and leave in July. Territorial yes but admirable birds for their flying skills.

Iceland is an amazing country. Stunning and they just accept basically sitting on top of a load of active volcanoes. I was getting nervous just wat hing you all sat on the cliff edges, you'd never get me sat there 😂

So cool to see this video - I was in the Faroe islands just a couple of months ago and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! Never got close to the puffins there, but saw a bunch of them from a distance. If you ever get the chance to go, I'd warmly recommend it! Make sure to respect the local environment and all the cool people living there, and you'll have a great time too!

Truly great video Dani. Iceland has always been on my bucket list of places to visit, those waterfalls are something else, especially with that wild Icelandic wind I have been told. I wonder if you got to see any of the semi wild horses while you were there. Superb footage and stills as per usual from you, and that landscape eh?! I went to that cliff area in 2018. There were heaps of puffins, but it was blowing a gale, raining & hard to hold the lens still to get great shots but it was still great.

This is so awesome. We were in iceland at the same time and even were close to the westfjords the same time your group were. i was kinda hoping to stumble across the group to say hi, but the westfjords alone are so widespread, there was no realistic chance of this happening. I immediately recognized that cliff with the puffins by the old lighthouse. My favourite birds from iceland, aside from puffins, are common eider, because of this unique sound (uhhh, uhuu) they make. We imagined they were commenting on us climbing around rocks, which gave us a good laugh.
