One of my favourite singers of all time! my other very big idol is Willemijn Verkaik, who is Dutch and played the role of Elphaba in Wicked in Germany and in Holland, and now she's going to play that part on BROADWAY!! so.. then I thought.. HOW COOL would it be, if Willemijn ànd Sierra would play the leading parts in Wicked (my all time favourite musical)?!! So PLEASE broadway people get Sierra to audition for the part of Glinda!!! omg, I just freaked out as I had the same advent calendar as Sierra Boggess! I was lucky enough to see her play Fantine in November; she was just amazing. Such a unique approach to the character, and it could have gone so wrong, but she did it wonderfully. I got her autograph after the show; I was so excited (and I didn't do a great job of containing that excitement), but she was very nice (if a little quiet). Tam was also friendly (Best.Javert.Ever.) Sierra is so amazingly talented (and absolutely gorgeous).

I'd only seen two other portrayals; one was very bland and lifeless (not in a good way), and the other was way too angry for my liking. Sierra's Fantine was very fragile and soft-spoken. It made Fantine so much more pitiful than the typical portrayal, which I liked. It also made her seem more innocent, which makes the descent into prostitution sadder. It could have gone wrong because of how softly she was singing, but you could hear every single word crystal clearly. It was amazing.
