Thanks for the review. I was looking at Sierra Designs gnar lite jacket and trying find one of those. For me the square pattern of the DriDown Sweater didn't look that good on the websites versus the horizontal baffles of the Gnar Lite. Problem is that I can't find the Gnar Lite anywhere in my size and preferred color, black (most are neon blue or red/orange). But seeing this on an actual person it looks great.

I have owned this jacket now for a few weeks. For the most part I totally agree with the excellent review above. It's an excellent light down jacket for town/office/travel. I do not use this jacket for backcountry endeavors though. Why? the fit through the arms/shoulders is not sophisticated enough. Not articulated enough. Doesn't move well with me when I try to climb, for example. Also the cut at the bottom is a bit too long for my tastes. It comes down over my butt. That's fine for town/travel, but I don't like it for more serious outdoor adventures.
