Back during Covid, Sierra was a regular in our taproom. She sported a custom unique (but appropriate) mask and an incredible spark of personality. We had no idea who she was or what she did, she was just a ray of sunshine that came bouncing in every now and then. It's been so fun watching her rise, and this concert is just another step!

So many amazing musicians in that community never get to be heard by wider society and their memory exists only in the minds of people who knew them. I fell in love with her voice when I heard her busking on the streets of the French Quarter, New Orleans. She would mix Gypsy Jazz with a wide range of other genres that wouldn’t make sense to anyone else but with her hypnotic voice, it all made sense to me. I just returned from an international trip and on the last two days of the trip i began to feel extremely weary and yearning for home. On a whim I played Sierra in my earbuds. American Dreaming became my comfort song on repeat the last day I was abroad. I've never been a particularly patriotic person, but being away from home made me realize how much I appreciate my country and its diverse cultures. I especially yearn for the country, both the natural untamed wilds and country/folk music, that seem to transport me to my childhood and remind me just how American I truly am. Thanks Sierra for helping me feel connected to home when i was feeling anxious and alone in another country

I'm not a fan of current popular country music, at all. I'm more of a Led Zeppelin & Frank Zappa kinda guy. But this woman just brings back a time when I was a kid listening to Jimmie Rodgers with my dad teaching himself to play the guitar to those tunes. She's got an "old timey" voice that I just love, and beats any of the new country hands down. Love, love, love her!

Gosh, I love how I never know what to expect when listening to a tiny desk concert from an artist I don't recognize but I'm always pleasantly surprised! I love getting to discover new and greatly varied music, this is all around amazing!
