Saw her and her band a couple months ago. The whole show is as delightful as this. She's a brilliant young musician. Her band members are dynamite. Anyone who liked this song, go see her if she's nearby because she's a rising shooting star. We walked out of the show smiling, swaying, dancing, and grateful. I forgot to mention that we're 72 and 65 for all that movement and smiling out of the auditorium.

Her substantial vocal skills have really strengthened through the years. As for her passion as a general multi-instrumentalist... most of us only DREAM of playing or thinking musically like she does. Sierra and her husband Justin also have a beautiful countenance on stage. The musicians in this band are just fabulous. I just love watching old videos of Sierra playing with Ron Bloc or Adam Steffey or Sam Bush. And of course there is the now famous vid of her playing Cluck ol Hen with AKUS when she was very - very young.

Lovely song with a true Christmas feel of snow, warmth and cheer...The mix of musical genres is superb, which at a guess seems to be classical, jazzy, bluegrass and Latin...It could be the signature song for a musical or film. Just great music from Sierra and band, Merry Christmas!

I wanna hear the masters to this, just from KZbin alone, I think Shani & crew killed it! Holy smokes, it is freakin' magical sounding. I don't know how to describe it, but like the ultimate Christmas movie theme tune or better. Oh man, this is stupid cheesy, but the intro to a damn Hallmark Christmas movie (I make fun of my dad for this stuff). Just saw Sierra a few weeks ago - BY MISTAKE, ACTUALLY (I thought I was going to see a different Sierra) - and I was REALLY struck by how musical and melodic she is. I'm not gonna lie to you, I am not a huge Bluegrass fan, though I have heard and seen a good bit because I am a music fan, and I find I get bored with the notiness of it. I actually walked out of a Billy Strings show after about 45 minutes to an hour because everything had just started to sound the same, like as many notes as could possibly be played without actually inspiring me. But I stayed for ALL of Sierra's show because, even though she is CAPABLE of playing a lot of notes (and did) it felt like the intention was always MELODY. And a lot of really nice ones. So many micro-melodies I felt I was hearing that DID feel inspiring and kept me on my spot. Since then I've been playing more music myself and spending much more time on my Octave Mandolin. Because of her. And I feel like every video I watch confirms my feeling that she has a great natural knack for melody.

@@tomhart6962 By the way, the mistake was that the person who asked me to go to the show with her is someone I had just been talking to about Sierra FERRELL. Like maybe a week earlier. And I had been watching a lot of videos of Sierra Farrell so I had her on the brain and I just kinda heard, "Ya wanna go see Sierra," and went. I showed up to the show and found my friend and said, "Hey, who's this opener, she's pretty good." :D Obviously she explained that this was the headliner and, since I play a little mandolin, I just re-set my mind and focused in (I have actually watched videos of Sierra Hull in the past but it had been a couple years). After about two songs, though, Sierra Hull's playing had really captured me. Again, SO melodic with lines that weren't just fast and dextrous but VERY MUSICAL. By the end of the show I was a fan and as I said, she's inspired me to play a lot more.
