It’s much more reasonable to have a “due month” rather than a “due date!” So glad Steven got to come. I hope you get two support people! Support people make a huuuge difference!
@emmaphillips4593 жыл бұрын
So true! I have always been at least a week over my due date, and it takes a toll on your mental state when you get it in your head that something is about to happen on a specific day and then it doesn't.
@JillianHadley3 жыл бұрын
I agree! Though, I will say that I feel most people think that due month should be 38w-42w, where as my body thinks that due month should be 34w to 38w.

I am exactly 40 weeks pregnant today and I have been SO DONE being pregnant the last month and a half. I have litteraly cried of how much I want this baby out. I feel like I can’t talk to anyone but my husband about it because we have a couple of friends who have tried to get pregnant for years so I don’t want to seem ungrateful. 😩 at least I know that I will only be pregnant for 2 more weeks no matter what! But nothing is making this kid want to join the real world... 😩 I am all out of ideas

You poor thing! Going overdue is just mentally so hard! I was induced with all 3 of mine because I developed PUPPP and thought I would die if it didn't stop (going days without sleep, itching so bad I was shaking and crying, wearing clothes was unbearable, scratching in my sleep and waking up bleeding...) I had to start my mat leave from work early because I couldn't function. When my due date came up I was just an absolute wreck and my OB allowed me an induction because giving birth is the only cure. Oh the things they don't tell us about that last month of pregnancy!!
@anneko68423 жыл бұрын
Same here. I am 40 weeks tomorrow and it’ll likely be 2 more weeks until baby comes. I am losing my mind waiting. I feel like I can’t do it anymore. The waiting is terrible and the uncomfortableness is also terrible

Girl, see a pelvic floor physiotherapist if you haven’t already for the low back pain and pelvic pressure. I’m seeing one now at 35 weeks for the same thing and she’s a miracle worker. She recommends women come in even at the very start of pregnancy to start working on things. I did not know how unprepared I was for birth/pushing and postpartum recovery exercises until I saw her 😬

The hardest weeks in my first pregnancy were 32-35. I had severe back pain and a blocked nerve in my lower back. Horrible times, I could hardly walk and didn't know how to survive the rest of my pregnancy. Then the baby dropped further down and all my symptoms were gone. It was glorious! Since those weeks were so awful, I quite enjoyed the rest. I'm now 15 weeks pregnant with my second and hope it's not as bad this time around. I wish you all the best for the next weeks and your upcoming parenting journey!

I have been watching your vlogs diligently since you announced your pregnancy. I gave birth to my baby boy yesterday, and Sierra know that meeting baby makes all of the pain and discomfort worthwhile. However, the third trimester is undoubtedly HARD and not always the magical experience everyone portrays it to be. Your feelings and experience with pregnancy are totally valid!

I still remember that feeling of sheer excitement when the doctor told me that baby would likely be delivered in the next week (I had developed pre-eclampsia at 35 weeks and delivered shortly thereafter to keep me and baby safe; she is perfect and didn't need any nursery time!). This is such a special, amazing time. You'll be exhausted; you'll be frustrated -- but omg, will you love her. I never felt love so intense before in my entire life.
@melissacoviello28863 жыл бұрын
Baby is definitely going to come whenever she chooses. I have 4 boys, I delivered at 36,37,38 and 39 weeks with mine. I’ve never experienced going full term. Lol I also delivered at 156 pounds each time even if I started at 103 pounds (with the first one) or at 125 pounds. Just a weird coincidence.
