@@WawawKanu This was exactly what I was thinking, I think that enchantment protects your stuff from enemy effects but not from your own. In either case if devs are doing a good job Dam shouldn't be working with that enchantment in the final product.

It's a balance thing. You shouldn't be able to pretty trivially be able to completely destroy every item the opponent has. What it needs is a line of text saying "This item's self-destruction cannot be prevented by any means."

This game was created by Reynad, a former Hearthstone streamer. It's been in development for about 9 years. I think the final game is quite a bit different from the initial concept.

Ya it started as a standard deck builder, similar to Hearthstone but ultimately decided to go this direction for a number of reasons. Two big reasons were they didn’t want a defined “meta” where that you could just craft whatever decl all the streamers are playing and go stomp. The other reason was that this game style means they can let certain things be absolutely broken because there are so many combinations of things that your chance of getting a certain combo any more than once is super low. Looking at it I’m excited for it, the game lets you build broken combos to watch pop off and since the combat is asynchronous it means you can as much time as you want to make all your choices.

Sifd interprets burn vs shield wrong. He thinks burn is weak vs shield, because of half speed ticks. But the slower tick rate makes it much easier to stack more burn and burn doesn't deal 1 dmg, it deals the amount of burn the target has every time it deals damage and then ticks down by 1. So shielded targets make it so, that burn starts slow, but ramps up twice as fast and the moment the shield breaks the super high stacked burn will tick the HP full speed away. So I'd say burn is actually GOOD against shield stacking. As long as you can stack it indefinitely (faster than it ticks down).

i would say it is kinda both early game it definitely is strong ageinst shield due to stacking more and you likely having no problem getting past the shield. Late game the Tick down realy isnt that much lets say the fight lasts around 30 seconds Your burn is gonna hit for 30 more dmg if your opponement is armored the whole time compared to if he would not have any armor. For example his fight at around 35 minutes took toughly 30 seconds with a mixture of the enemy being armored and not he finished it with 237 burn i kinda doubt that the not even 30 dps that he had extra Changed much in the last 2 seconds (and that is with him already not being a full crit build and in roughly the midgame ) Also the burn does not Ramp up Twice as fast it falls of half as fast So dps gets halved if you applie 10 bps (burn per second) it does not suddenly become 20 it changes from 8 bps to 9 bps (since instead of 2 fall of per second its now 1)

I think the radiant enchant is only for when your opponent destroys your items, and since The Dam destroys itself, it wasn't immune. There is a build though to give The Dam 3x multicast, destroying the opponents entire board upon activation.

Artwork for this game is insane. Especially with the random buffs items add different effects to the item icons idea. It would take multiple years to make by hand so I wonder how they could achieve it.

The dam idea is not that good even if it worked as you wished . You forgot that other things can be indestructible as well . And the radiant enhancement just way too good to pick other options , so basically late game any players will have some of this

Here what a quick google search tells you Sometime in December, it will become free-to-play when its Open Beta starts. Finally, once January 2024 hits, The Bazaar will fully release (the exact day is still unknown). The Bazaar will not be on Steam and will only be available from its official launcher to play on PC on Mac
