So I decided to try this, turns out lucky is the better option because you get way, still haven't finished it because it's taking so long to get through the level ups, currently my level is over 4k update: i finished, my lvl at the end of stage 19 was 22k and my harvesting at the end of the game was 46778741734921

I personally generally enjoy watching the shopping phase just because it’s satisfying to see how much stuff you can accumulate. For me it’s part of the payoff for breaking the game. Of course, like you said, at a certain point diminishing returns kick in and 8 harvesting just doesn’t contribute much anymore and it starts to feel a bit stale. Just my two cents.

I think that the shops being so heavily weighted is a bit too much, the rainbow chests seem like enough for craziness but just being unable to find a bunch of items in the shops kind of made having so much harvesting kind of boring

I had a thought - perhaps on runs similar to this where you scroll through the shops a lot, asking your modder guy to perhaps max the legendary weapons where a purple adds x% or x base damage and a legendary adds a higher amount - it could justify the longer shop phases perhaps?

You can get an exponential amount of rainbow crates by taking lure. It guarantees 2 loot aliens spawning next wave, which will give you 2 rainbow crates… etc. You get insane hp regen and as much items as you want

Seeing as this is a godot engine game, if you have the game opened in engine as a project it seems to me it would be relatively easy to increase the number of levels... I'll have to give that a look this weekend, as it's pretty in line with a project I'm working on anyway and I'd like to see utility of the Godot engine.
