I’m so surprised you don’t have more subs with vids like these, I’ve seen most of the Sifu videos on KZbin and this is definitely one of the best ones I’ve seen, a must watch for Sifu lovers.
@arkham6662 ай бұрын
@@PB_JJ thanks. Unfortunately it's just the way it works. Creating quality content isn't going to get you attention here unfortunately, not quickly anyway. It helps to keep people coming back when they do find you but it doesn't pull in massive numbers like say screaming at an ign headline would. And I'm not interested in making that kinda stuff. Glad you liked the video. I'm so psyched for Secret Level's Sifu episode.

I am no fighter and not an aggressive person and never engaged in MMA or fighting and i despise it. But besides all of that, this game is so brutal and just awsome to play, especially because the fighting style is based of southern china which is more direct and way better than northern style kung fu which is more acrobatic and makes it a bit boring. I do appreciate the game having an absolutely amazing story that never gets boring and the fights that never gets old, especially the sean fight that you mentioned. The wude part which means martial morality is my favorite ending, and for me, it teaches me that aggression is not the answer always, and you can forgive them for what they have done, the past was different and same as the present, they might have moved on or understood their mistakes and you can forgive them to and you dont have to seek for vengeance but rather find the reasoning if the action they have done and understand them rather than killing them which will make you inhuman and makes you even more evill than what you think. Excellent review, you have covered every important thing in the game, great job 👍.

I played this game cuz it was free on playstation a while back and it turned into one of my favorite games ever. The combat system is a masterpiece. I think I like it more than sekiro when you combine all the elements together. The parry in sekiro is second to non for me but when you bring in the dodges, combos, weapons and skills from Sifu I think it has Sekiro beaten but that's just my opinion. Also the training area for Sifu is miles better.

My first time playing Sifu I wanted to beat it while remaining under 25 which was a brutal experience, it took me 2 days to even beat the first mission but I think it was worth in the long run because after that I never had too much difficulty on any mission. To this day I never platinum the game cause I never reach above age 30. Excellent combat

Sifu really is a great beat 'em up. I stopped b/c I was getting my ass handed too quick, but I guess that's how games have coded me now. Be fast on the offensive but be quick to guard when need be. Also, it's kind of neat to know the martial arts that you've taken up in your past. Makes me kind of regret no finishing my taekwondo school as I'm perpetually a green belt. I should take martial arts again, but adult responsibilities won't permit for that.

Sifu is awesome.. I fully planned on continuing to play it over and over and unlock all the skills, but I could not beat the final boss on normal mode, so I had to change it to easy just to get through that fight, but the game doesn’t allow u to then switch back to normal, so if I wanted to continue playing I’d have to keep it on easy or restart the entire game , this is what made me put the game down.. I do still wanna go back to it though and start over

He's a massive jump in difficulty. I only beat him the first time because I'd managed to stay so young and had enough deaths in me to wear him down.

@@arkham666 yeah believe me I rarely ever will lower the difficulty in a game, but I tried so many times and just felt like I was never gonna get through it.. though if I had realized I wasn’t gonna be able to switch back to normal I probably would have never changed to easy.. but after seeing ur video I think I’m gonna reinstall it and start again.. such a great game

If you replay a mission you loose your shrine skills anyway And if you start a new game you take your skills with you So it should be no issue to start an new game on a different difficulty because you basicly loose nothing but your story board stuff if I’m right

@@tanatonaut870 it hot differently from a souls game. I found it was best to just struggle through a terrible run, then after go back to the practice dummy and figure out your defence. Then go again. Honestly it's a lot of fun replaying the maps as you get better and that's not something I usually like in games.

The arena actually have 4 medals/stamps, but its not 4 instead the 3 stamp turns gold. And i would agree, some arena is straight up unfair/rng. Though u do need a certain amount of base skill level to get the gold stamp its still gonna be frustrating no matter how good you are.

I suspect, from your analysis, that you might enjoy Godhand. A decade ago I bought it for five bucks from the PS3 network. I don't have a console anymore, but I imagine it's still floating out there somewhere. 3d over the shoulder melee fighter with a 'taking acid while watching every anime on fast forward' plotline. Painfully difficult until it suddenly clicks, and then surprisingly fun.
