Assembling the crew and taking a kid out for the Make a Wish foundation was fantastic, and they really went out of there way to show him a really great experience. It gave me the chills a little bit.

I love the make a wish foundation, if I ever came into money or won a lottery I’d donate a lot to make a wish. My niece passed of cancer and they bought her a brand new moped because that was her wish . Hi such a good organization.

Fortunately, that kid, Gary Yost Jr. although not completely out of the woods, has no signs of disease since his last check-up, and has recently graduated high school. 👍 (www.stbaldricks.org/kids/mypage/6548 ) These guys come in to my work for oil changes on all their vehicles. Sig is a buddy of the owner of our chain of lube and oil shops around the North Seattle and South Snohomish County (Everett Washington,) area. (Hey! The banana thing makes a lot of sense lately. Suitcases are for Cruise ships not crab boats. The make a wish thing was awesome! I would love to spend a day working hard out there. EDIT: A little crab 🦀 told me that Gary has been in remission for a long while and he graduated college a few years back. It’s great to hear he pulled through especially since I lost a friend from high school to the same exact type of cancer he had. EDIT 2: I normally don’t edit a post more than once but a fun(ish) fact is that Sigs dad Sverre passed away 2 days before I was born
