I find it interesting that there are two different recoil springs for the compact/carry model. I have two and one is oval where it meets the lug on the barrel and one that is circular. Both work great

I own and love my nitron finish P320, but people need to stop making excuses for that finish. It’s not as durable as what other manufacturers use. My six month owned P320 looks worse then much older pistols from Glock, Ruger, and even Taurus that I own. Sig is clearly cutting costs on the finish but you get a better pistol in some other areas so I accept the trade off.

I own three Sig Sauer models: the P320 X Five, the P320 M17, and the X Compact. All three are very accurate and dependable with great ergonomics and smooth trigger pulls. No issues, no complains. Glock fanboys talk too much crap about Sig based on idolatry.
@JacksonWalter7354 ай бұрын
For a range gun, is the XCompact a decent option? My sister is picking out her first firearm and she’s trying to find something that she can carry and use as a range/home defense gun. I like the upgrades to the X models, but the XCompact has a shorter slide and barrel. I read online that makes it more snappy to shoot compared to the standard P320 Compact.

Not a fan of sig and their willingness to let the end user be a “beta tester” of their products. I’ll keep buying Springfield.
@drdrake632 жыл бұрын
You bring up a point I agree with. Although I don’t think needs to be part of a gun review. For the life of me I don’t understand why they can’t send out 50 or 100 firearms to different types of shooters and let them shoot a couple thousand rounds through it and give their opinion back before they release to the market. Colt did the same thing with the python release. I don’t know what it costs to do that versus their in-house testing, but what it does to a company’s reputation is - guys like you won’t spend their money there. I get it.
@UnknownUser-fe5zu2 жыл бұрын
@@drdrake63 agreed, interesting you brought up the python I was wanting one of the new ones but after research saw they sorta pulled a sig also 😢 I was super disappointed, I know they have fixed the issues but still you would think since these companies preach gun safety so much they wouldn’t put an unsafe product (the old P320 for instance) in your hands without it being throughly tested. Except of course ones that they submit for military contract testing……apparently when millions of dollars is involved they get it right? Sad.
@BOOMER-rs5qn2 жыл бұрын
@@UnknownUser-fe5zuActually, wrong. DOD did not do the full testing on the Sigs before signing the multi-million dollar contract. Sig came in with the low ball price, and I suspect slid someone a few bucks on the side. As a result, our military people have been having all kinds of problems with those sh*t guns. It's bad enough to endanger the lives of civilian customers, but endangering our military people is on a whole other level of criminal negligence. I will never purchase a Sig product!
