SIG P320 X Compact. Ultimate carry gun?

In the Marine Corps and later in the Army I was issued a Beretta M-9. Although I consistently qualified expert I never truly felt comfortable with that weapon. As a rookie police officer 24 years ago I was issued a Glock 17. I was extremely comfortable with it. A few years later I was issued the Glock 22. I was extremely comfortable with it. A few years later I was issued the Glock 21. I am extremely comfortable with it and it’s my current duty service weapon. I rarely carried a weapon off duty and when I did I just concealed my issued weapon. Earlier this year my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her I wanted an off duty conceal carry weapon. I saw the Sig Sauer P320x compact sitting in that display case and chose it for no other reason than it looks cool. 6 months later and multiple trips to the range and it’s my favorite. It’s so comfortable, easy to conceal, easy to clean and for me it feels like it is custom made for me. Now I am obsessed with Sigs. That Sig Sauer 1911 Fastback Nightmare carry is a work of art. Oh well, I needed a new hobby anyway. Great video brotha.

Absolutely LOVE the x compact. Was carrying the standard p365 but having issues getting a good grip on the draw. The bigger 320 is so much easier for me to grab and draw

If I got a 365 I would have to get the XL they are pretty small

@@OEDArms I love my 365, got a zev slide and holosun for it as well. But it's VERY small. If I'm really wanting to stay concealed (like at my family reunion with a lot of anti-gun people), it's great. Otherwise, I think I'm going to switch to the P320 X Compact after shooting my friend's gun.

I own a P320 X Compact and an M&P Shield Plus. Love them both. I have relatively small hands and the X Compact grip feels great. I find it a bit big for summer concealed carry, unless I'm wearing a button down shirt. The Shield Plus is great for summer carry. As much as I hate the cold weather, I kind of can't wait to be able to wear a jacket or sweater so I can carry my X-Compact.

I have the p320 axg scorpion and the axg classic. They are basically the exact same footprint and they are phenomenal pistols! Mine obviously have an aluminum frame but that's a plus in my book. That one probably shoots just as good. Thanks for the look!

I love the way the AXG Scorpion shoots!! I liked it so much I purchased this gun to be its little brother. It came with a Sig Optic already installed. These guns shoot amazingly!

I purchased the same exact pistol not long ago to be used as my new IWB weapon, after a couple of days I came to realize that the Sig 320c is a bit too large to carry, so I switched to the smaller Sig 365 which is a lot more suitable for carrying. Otherwise the 320c is an awesome firearm.

With larger hands you should go hold/shoot the xCarry. I’m right in between, the XCompact (I own) could use a little grip tape to fill it out a hair for me, but the XCarry was on the other end, just a hair larger than perfectly comfortable. Your hands look a lot bigger than mine ha. I’d check it out if you like the compact.

You are defiantly right. They are slimmer and smaller. I do like thicker guns though because my hands are huge.

@@OEDArms I feel the same, plus with a decent holster it would conceal fine. I have an X Carry which is a little larger then the Compact, and with my tier1 holster it disappears even with a t shirt

It’s a double edge sword. Larger guns I shoot better. Smaller guns are easier to conceal.

I have that gun...wife has the Xcarry (home defense). Great guns, very well built, accurate, great ergo, very good trigger, Red dot ready, and more. NOT buying the 'self-shooting' and law suit stories. As an engineer....I see NO WAY a perfectly well designed gun will have more than one simultaneous safety mechanism failure (of several) and go off without a trigger pull. People lie....all too often....

Has anyone else noticed that, as guns get smaller (overall), gun names are getting much longer? Let's see - I have a "Smith & Wesson M&P Compact 2.0" and I am considering a "Sig Sauer P320 X Carry". Wtf?!?! Makes me appreciate my "Glock 19"s simple name. Even what looks short, in text - my "CZ P10c" is 5 F'n syllables, when pronounced.

Damn, just saw a guy yesterday that said he can cut the slide to hold a deltapoint optic (without needing the adapter) for $45.00. Don't recall his name or the video it was on (was a comment on another video). Can try to find it if you're interested. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

@@OEDArms Was able to find that fairly quickly. Luckily only watched 3 videos on the P320 yesterday, so didn't have to look far. I hope it is what I said it is, as I don't know much about optics (having never owned anything, but cheap one's on bb guns). @@OEDArms No prob. Hope it helps. Just saw that and thought it was an excellent deal. I'm not a fan of the adapter plates either, because they add so much height to the optic (and sights if you want to co-witness). $45 seems like it would save a fair amount of money. Just wish I knew of someone I could recommend that I know and trust.

@@OEDArms Had it over 1 year....1000+ rounds....I leave it on (it shuts off by its self and turns on at the slightest touch)...I carry almost every day with NO battery change....LOVE the circle Dot...I always shoot 100% when I qualify, ALL Head shots...Q Target...50 out of 50 from 25 yards to 5 yards!!
