Thank you for the video! It gave me the confidence to try this myself. I had already installed a flat trigger on my P320, but this one was a little more challenging and your vid helped a lot.

Thank you! Your video was very informative and helpful. Got mine installed in about 20 minutes. Much more involved than the P320 trigger install but easily done with proper tools and some mechanical experience.

Thanks for posting. Tiny parts and amazing engineering by Sig. There certainly were teething issues w this piece but it is an engineering marvel.

I agree. I hope that more gunmakers go the modular route. I'd especially like to see a modular version of the PPQ, but judging how they did the SC, I'm doubting Umarex will foot the bill on R&D.

Is Sig addressing the striker drag issue with these?
@BloodySoup745 жыл бұрын
@@JK-vc5vu Probably not. They can only do so much in a package like these. They'll just fix with the same parts they have under warranty. Some other small guns have primer drag too. I went ahead anyway and bought the 365 last Friday. If these strikers were breaking with under 500 rounds through them then I would not have bought one. I'm seeing them break around 2000-3000 rounds. Just remember small pistols are not meant for 10,000 plus rounds anyway like duty pistols. I'll replace parts at 2,000 rounds just for the hell of it.

Thank you Mr. Cole! Just installed my new trigger pin, spring and flat trigger (Kit-365-FLAT-TRIGGER) from Sig Sauer. Just went slow and easy, step by step and I am very pleased with the outcome. One thing to note is that my P365 is a newer version and that piece you slid out, too far, is nitrided with a slightly different profile but otherwise all steps are the same. Thank you!

Again - great video for people looking to learn (like me). The only benefit I can see (other than a switch from curved to flat trigger) from this upgrade is the ability to adjust (reduce) the trigger over-travel. The stock trigger has a solid "nub" that acts as an over-travel stop (maybe it is cast in?). It is static and the only modification is filing it down, which would increase over-travel.

Now that I just installed the Grayguns adjustable trigger, I watched your video again and realized how I could have made my life easier because I dropped the lifter out, and I put that lifter back last. Yup, last. And my reassembly was complicated by a manual thumb safety (I’m in MA). So, I guess now when I do my wife’s it will be easier, or maybe I can not pull the pin as far out.
@nathanmindblog3 жыл бұрын
If you have a manual safety then the lifter will never fall out. You lift that silver rod (mine is black) it hits the bottom of the safety and stops. No way to pull it out more to make the lifter fall

I have taken my P365 apart many times, and never once did i need a hammer, I have changed the sear spring , the striker spring, the safety spring and rreduced the trigger pull from 6 lbs to 4.2 lbs. I thought this video was about reducung the pre-travel. My fault read the description wrong. I think I will start putting how to videos out, I am not any where as good as the Sig Guy, better than what I just watched. I did learn some things from this video so well worth watching. Thanks for the video

Great video. Followed step by step. It did probably take me 30 to 45 minutes tho. I couldn't get the slide on after I finish, and then I noticed that the bar on the left side wasn't in the right position. So I had to take it apart again and make sure that the rear of the bar was all the way back. It works now tho. I just need to get the 12 rd base plate. I had the 12 rd mags and they didn't come with that plate for some reason. I will probably get those magnuts base plates, springs and followers. I also wanted to change the frame for the xl one, so that's why I need those plates

Thanks for the video. I just hoped you would have shown us best feature of the Grayguns flat trigger over the Sigs flat trigger. The adjustment feature of eliminating the over travel. It would help us to determine if it’s worth paying more than double for it. Keep up the good work!

Very helpful video: I don't think I would have managed it without the video, and had some false starts even with it. BTW: I did weigh the triggers, and although I didn't go to fractional grams, the factory trigger and the Gray Guns flat trigger both weighed 7 grams on a digital scale.
@mikemurphy75165 жыл бұрын
I also tested the trigger pull before and after installation with a Wheeler Engineering digital trigger pull gauge. With a trial of 20 pulls before and after, the difference in mean pull was a 3 ounces with the samples having standard deviations of 4.4 and 5.4 ounces, meaning that there is a statistical difference (p=0.5) but no practical (perceptible) difference in trigger pull weight.

Just a tip, buy Lucas marine grease instead of their gun grease. If you look at the safety data sheet on the two, they are both identical in make up and amounts. Only difference is that the gun grease has scent added. A tube a marine grease is like $5-$8 for 14oz instead of .5oz for the same price. Lucas is known to add higher prices just for the labeling of their items. Their gun cleaner and contact cleaner are both exactly the same with the only difference is one is $3 and the other is $8. Just saying you can save tons of money just for a different label.

By watching the video two or three times then following along I was able to install my Grayguns Flat Trigger with over travel adjustment without any issues. The instructions and camera angles were very good. I would like to note that I purchased my 365 in November of 2021 and some of the parts were updated and not the same shape/color as the ones in your pistol/video. However the instructions still worked and I didn't have any issue. I will add that it took a bit more force to get my take down lever back into place then yours did, but nothing a little elbow grease didn't take care. Overall great video and still relevant to the newer 365s coming on the block in 21/22!

After completing my swap the fire arm does not fire. As if the safety is on. If racked while holding trigger a can hear a rest when let go. If I hold the trigger while slowly racking back it sounds like a hammer might have dropped... Any ideas??

I just picked up my 365 today and it doesn’t have that silver pin thing on the side. I guess sig redesigned it cuz the pin is black now, way smaller that the silver one and I was able to pop the bar out without even pulling the pin out.
