I bought a P365 yesterday to replace my Ruger LCP Max as a conceal carry. I love Glocks for their rock-solid reliability, but I traded my 43 as I felt it was redundant. I still have my 19, and if the Sig turns out to be unreliable, I'll find a way to carry a Glock 26.

I have the P365 ( which I carry) and I have over 2,000 with only a few failure to eject the cartridge. But I attribute that to cleansing. I also have the G26 when I need better concealment, like when I go to exercise. I used to own a G43, but like you, I found it redundant, since I have a G19. They are all great.

Have both plus a Hellcat, all are 100% reliable. The 365 is smaller and higher capacity, but I shoot the 43 best. YMMV.

My 43 cuts my hand open after 100 rounds where the beavertail makes contact with my skin.

I don’t trust the longevity of the 365 yet. Few of my friends have issues I’m sure it would be fixed with ease from the manufacturer. I would rather have 7 rounds I know will fire.

Valid thought process, however our three P365 9mms have been 100 percent reliable. But can’t argue with your logic 💪

Hey I have been carrying a p365 for last couple years but only carried it and didn’t fire it a lot, recently I traded it for a G43 and that was because I had been reading the concerned issues of firing pin and other failures of the Sig. I have shot the Glock and have been carrying it. I was a bit more accurate with the sig but I don’t like that idea of potential broken firing pin and what not I like knowing the Glock will go bang I can carry multiple mags which I do anyway. According to the issues the later serial numbers were better than the first generation of sigs that came out but a reputable company should have it flawless in the first generation it’s not an appliance it’s a weapon that lives are at stake I don’t know I might keep the Glock as I’ve considered getting back to the sig

Especially where the factory sights are concerned. The Sig comes with tritium sights. The Glock comes with plastic ones…

I don't know why so many people complain about the Glock 43 only being 6 + 1. because the average number of shots fired in self-defense is two, according to an analysis of 482 firearms self-defense incidents.

To be fair, that pinky extension on the p365 likely won’t tilt the gun if you hold the gun higher, with the web of your hand covering the small beaver tail. I wear size 8.5 gloves (L) and I can get a good grip on it if I’m using the 12rd mag or the 10rd mag with pinky extension. I should note that I’m a very lanky guy so while my hand frame is large, my fingers are skinny. If I ever gain weight to the point that my fingers get fatter, the p365 might not be comfortable for me anymore. It’s incredible how small increments on the grip make a huge difference on ergonomics. I just got a wide frame Glock (G40) and my hands felt cluttered on it. Instead of just blaming the “Block” bad ergonomics, I changed the backstrap for the Large one and voilà: my fingers rested where they were supposed to. Same thing with the Beretta: didn’t like the Vertec grip but adding the larger rubber wraparound made the grip perfect for my hand.

I was going to get the Kahr PM9 which is still king in micro size however I had an issue with a PM40 that I kept inadvertently hitting the mag release button during recoil so I went with the Glock 43 instead which is nearly impossible for that to happen. The 43 has been outstanding in every category. Unfortunately with the Sig 365 i was having the same issue with dropping the mag while firing. A pachmayr grip sleeve helped with that issue. I really like the 365 however I already have the Kel Tec P-11 which is smaller and lighter than the 365 and holds the same amount of bullets. That P-11 is still hard to beat despite the complaints about the trigger but those people obviously have no experience with how hard a double action revolver trigger can be so in short its not an issue for me.

Glock 43 has been flawless functionally here, so totally get that! We haven't had an issue with dropping mags with the P365 but each person's grip is certainly unique

I really like the size of the Kahr, and I've been looking into them, but it seems there are many comments that don't have too many good things to say about them. I've also heard their customer service isn't great either. To be fair, some folks rave about them. That being said, at the price they are going for, I'd rather stick with something that has a solid track record. Maybe you could provide some information on your personal experience and clear the air so to speak. Btw, capacity isn't an issue for me, but from what I've heard is Kahr is in fact coming out with a double stack. Take care

@@ChrisfromGeorgia To sum it up Kahr has been around a long time and they were always and still have been the king of compact micro carry guns. Ive had a lot of Kahrs and they were all great however the PM 40 was the only gun I had issues with and it was more of a ammo issue not a firearm issue. 40 S&W in a tiny 17 ounce gun is a freakin hand cannon!

It's a 6+1, Lighter, easier to reload, arguably more reliable, and the aftermarket for Glocks is massive. Revolvers are cool but the 43 is better.

@IsaacDeSantiago-sj6tg I would say a revolver is arguably as reliable as it gets, seeing as they don't jam and can't be out of battery. But yes, I see your point with reloading.

The cylinder can bind and they won't revolve. I had two Smiths to do it. Until then I thought revolvers were 100% reliable. Not so.@@mathewjones7663

I used to carry a S&W model 37, still do sometimes. It's super light, easy to conceal, great gun. But one drawback is most small revolvers like that are only five shots. Also the trigger pull is much heavier.

Lol it took time to gain trust in the 365. But we love the Glock 43 in fact although late the party we have an extension coming there. Both are great pistols in our minds
