The roll pin is holding in the guide rod block. It's a lot of work to machine that into the grip, and it's steel, so they use an insert, unlike the polymer where they can mold it in. Mischief Machine did something similar with their alloy module, but they screw in from the top instead of using a roll pin from the side.

I've been rocking one since January, and after trying out the Legion AXG at my LGS, no regrets. Legion is great, but the MM is thicker in the grip, which makes it an even better shooter for my hands but still conceals just as well, plus it comes with two G10 backstrap sizes, and LOK makes the grips/backstap for MM. And you can get it in 12rd or X-Macro 17rd size, and with short or full XL-length dust cover.

The pin holds the guide rod block, which takes the brunt of the energy from the guide rod, so they make it from steel rather than aluminum so the grip module doesnt wear out over time.

I own a P365 now. I purchased an Icarus Precision aluminum grip module. I’ve added magguts internals to go from 10rds to 12rds. I use the plastic grip module in the summer and the aluminum grip module in the winter. I’m going to trade a couple safe queens in to get the P365 Legion…

The 365 Macro has replaced the G19 as my carry gun. Not a decision I made lately. Ran one in a Pressberg No Fail class just to make sure. 365 is surprisingly capable. I will most likely get this version also... Maximize the 365 potential even more.

I have two, one at around 1000rds, and one at 1400~ with a Shalotek slide. Neither have had anything but ammo related failures, and the only ammo related failures were from some really nasty Winchester Winclean that had some low power rounds that failed to cycle the slide (kinda spooky, was worried I was going to get a squib). I have been debating on a Mischief Machine Macro module or an Icarus. I have the Wilson XL module currently and as it's set up, it's an absolute unit for its size.

@@tommymc7535 Honestly, in terms of concept, fit and finish, and shootsbility the X Macro is stellar. I just don’t trust Sig bc they have too many problems. If you want to dress the 19 up a little, the optic and a decent WML (I like Streamlight, but Surefire is also very good) would be it. I’d encourage you to look at the M&P9 M2.0 series. They have a 4.25”, 4” and a 3.6” that are quite nice. Also the HK VP9 line up is very good.

I would agree and say this is the greatest "stock form" you can get out of a P365 but I also think I'm P365'd out. I own the P365 XL, P365 X Macro and the Tac Ops. I was done when this came out... and at a significantly higher cost. I believe that if you haven't had an opportunity to buy a P365, this one is the one to get. Both my XL and X Macro have aftermarket work done (TD trigger, Magwell, KI barrel, LV Stippling, top window and barrel porting from SWE + multicam cerakote) so I can't justify another pistol of equal value, especially now when I've committed to a Staccato XC.

I agree. I have the P365 & the P365XL. Both have Wilson Combat grip modules, but my XL also has a 4.2" True Precision threaded barrel, Holosun 507K, Magguts, spring & follower, and Tactical Trigger mod. I too am 365's out.

I’m looking to get my first Sig pistol. I’ve been looking at the P365 xl the most and thinking of getting that one. My co worker told me to keep an eye out for Sigs’s newer stuff too. Then I saw this one came out recently. I feel like I want this one but it’s way more expensive than the P365 xl. I don’t carry yet but I was thinking of getting the xl for carrying and sometimes target shooting. Which one should I get? Is there any other big differences between the XL and the AXG Legion?

I stopped carrying my Glock 19 after the 365 came out. Add the wilson combat module or the icarus frame and the gun just feels so much better in hand and when shooting fast. I still prefer my Macro with Icarus frame over the legion version. I just wish Wilson Combat would come out with the Macro version of their frame and stop being a tease.

I have several hand guns, different brands. And i've got the 365 XMACRO with Romeo red dot. it's my favorite of my Sigs. I think your picking fly shiit out of pepper here.🤷‍♂😂 And you had a light with a battery on the front of the Legion when you were comparing muzzle jump.... Both are better than any the Glocks i've had, but don't have any Glocks left. Didn't like any of them...Only have Sigs, Kimbers and Colts and 1 S&W left.... But enjoyed your video.👍 FJB

8:23 I noticed that his slow mo shots of the P365 Legion had rocking motion (up, down, leveled off) recoil. In Sage Dynamics’s review on P365 Spectre Comp, the recoil is more flat shooting (up but then back to level). Interesting

I watch this video and almost want to buy one. Then I remember their quality control and more recently their customer service has gone downhill. I love the 226, but I’ve had a 320 and have 2 365’s all three polymer handguns have made the trip to Sig for reliability issues. My spectre xl went twice less than a year ago. Sig seemed to think if they could put 50 rounds through it then it didn’t need service. I finally bought the tool to polish the chamber myself and that seems to have fixed it. Fuck them though for not doing that on their own when I suggested it like they did with my standard 365 a few years back. I didn’t have to ask that time.

Was lucky enough to pick one up and definitely need a holster! Your right - holster selections are few and far between! Going to check out my other Glock 19 holsters to see what fits. Not a fan of the light - juice just not worth the squeeze for me. I carry a handled pretty much all the time.

You know the bottom of the Legion has a larger magewell flare than the regular Xmacro. It's almost like the TacOps magwell. If you add on that aluminum magwell from the TacOps the weight gets even closer.

Hey brother. Quick question for you. Were you using an Alpha Omega holster while shooting? If so does the AXG Legion fit alright in it? All of my regular XMACRO holsters from other companies will not fit the Legion. I appreciate any feedback. Thank you
