It is a good training aid. I use it to practice safely drawing from a IWB holster, getting a proper stance and sight presentation, firing while using a shot timer, then the most dangerous part - safely reholstering. This procedure creates a little bit of stress and reinforces good (or bad) habits. While I will use the sights on some drills, but accuracy is all over the place compared to an actual 9 mm. Some BBs penetrate my cardboard box target, while others bounce off of it. In addition to this CO2 pistol, I have an actual P365 9mm (and I got the model with the external safety). The size seems identical, but the CO2 pistol is much lighter. The safety is in the same location, but feels different - rather cheap and flimsy as expected. Again, it is great for training - but train correctly! Treat the gun as if it were a real, loaded 9 mm. I appreciate the guy that made this video, but please don't casually sweep the barrel across your hands and fingers, keep your finger indexed on the slide and away from the trigger until you have sights on target, and of course never point the gun at your head! If you are just playing around and are never, ever around real firearms, then these things aren't critical. The worse that could happen would be the loss of an eye.

@@Joey0367 Thanks 👍 I think I was at 10 yards.

How has it been operating so far? I have the 9mm version and was considering getting the CO2 version for when I can't get out to the range. Great review.

Cheers mate. All good. A few drops of silicone oil on the various seals every now and then and all is good. If you want to run drills I think it would be pretty useful. All the best.

@@gardenguns Thank you for the tip on the seals. Is it picky on the type of BBs you use?
@gardenguns3 жыл бұрын
I used SMK BB’s not sure if they are available outside of the UK. They are around 5-6 grains. I can check them if I can find my scales! Let me know if you need the weights

Garden Guns I’ve just got an hatsan breaker 900x in .177 for under 100 quid .. put a hawke 3x9-50 fast mount on it and run it in maybe a tin of pellets and it’s pellet on pellet at 20 yards .. best budget rifle I ever brought .. I recommend it .. that impressed I brought the .22

For the money the 900x is a great rifle easily good enough to enjoy some back garden fun or some medium range pest control. The fast mount range of scopes are probably the best budget scopes out there at the moment. I had the 3-9 x 40. It is what I used for the CP2 chat.

I just bought one and noticed a rattling in the mag. and found a small white o ring in there. Is this a seal for the CO2 canister?
@gardenguns2 жыл бұрын
Could be. I would take it back to the shop and get them to have a look.

How have you found the P365 after a few months use? I purchased one on release and it failed on day one and so did its replacement was a real shame as a great feeling compact pistol, i am hoping maybe they ironed out the initial problems (mainly feed/jam issues) as i would like to add one to the collection.

I had an issue with the mine venting on the first shot of a new co2 cylinder. However after a clean and a re lube of the seals with silicone oil It was fine. The only real issue I had was how quickly I got through those 12 shots! I wish I had got an extra mag. I liked the little pistol.

Bought one and the gun functions as it should. The magazines tend to jam. A tap to the bottom of the mag will make it fire again and then the bbs jam again. I tried 4.4 Blaster plastic bbs and the fed thru the mag better but not without the occasional jam. I am hoping over time the jams will work themselves out.

Now you have had the gun for a bit have you had any problems with it
@gardenguns2 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard. I only had it for a couple of months. The only problem I encountered was a sticky in the valve in the magazine. Nothing a spray of silicone didn’t fix.

This is a great pistol to teach the basics of firearms handling and shooting to pretty much anyone, especially those that are slightly smaller built!

Yeah, even though the pistol was checked, cleared and magazine removed, it still wasn’t comfortable to be literally looking down the barrel of a gun! 😬 All the best
