Hi, I have just caught your video, I have just bought a new TX200 HC. 177 last Saturday to sit alongside my new HW80k Luxus. 177 in my gun cabinet, that I purchased new 3 months ago, Both Rifles will stay as they were intended, that is as per factory spec's, I've no intention of ruining the manufacturer's warranty, reason being I don't do a lot of shooting these days,probably once a month, but the Hw80 has already had a couple of runs out at the Range & is an absolute dream to use, I bought the TX200 because I wanted a premium Under lever Rifle, having previously owned both HW97 & HW77's some years ago, I decided a change was in order, although I do prefer Weihrauch Rifles over any other brands, both these Rifles replaced PCP's, so I'm now a dedicated "Springer" user. 😁👍

@@edwardmiles3921 Well the jury is out on the hold sensitivity on the TX. Not there with the HW99S yet. The HW99s seems to be more hold sensitive of the 2 after the tune.

Notes from an old curmudgeon. When I was a kid 60 years ago I had an aged BSA Cadet .177. I enjoyed it immensely and despite its low power I think that I became proficient with it, but I always fired standing up and with open non-adjustable sights so allowances for wind and range were made by experience and practice. Practice is everything - you never have to think about how you hold your rifle or how to breath when firing. I am in no position to give you any advice but I wonder if your grouping might improve if you replace your wobbly table with something more rigid. You make interesting videos and I enjoy them. Complete waste of money my friend but made ok content.. any stock 99 would benefit from a clean and degrease/re lube periodically plus your main difference wasn’t the tune it was the fact you done one video (before) on a very hot day and the after on a very cool day…🙄 As we all know in hot weather a springer looses power👍
@gardenguns2 ай бұрын
@@Sae-fu5ch Thank you for watching . Good point, just for clarity, there was a 7c difference with the part 1 video being shot on a 27c day and part 2 on a 20c day. So not too cool, a nice temp just not sunny. So although there might have been a difference in power due to the temp, I don’t think it would equate to 0.7ft/lb. As you can see I am just wearing a long sleeve T and shorts in the first part of this video. It was a cooler when I re did the summary at the end though hence trousers! This all being said, my main reason for the tune was to upgrade the internals, smooth out the firing cycle and decrease the spread between shots. All of which has been achieved. What was a good rifle is now a great one!

I think the same shooting technique applies to all rifles so springers are no different to shoot really . The two most important things I feel are trigger control and follow through . Don't pull the trigger or squeeze it - think SMOOTHLY closing the gap to the back of the trigger guard , and DONT release the trigger until you see the impact on the target through the scope .
