Sig Sauer tread 716i

Although the Sig muzzle device looks more like a compensator and does more than the lousy A2 flash hider almost all AR 10s come with, I replaced it with a $40 Midwest Industries one and it probably feels like an AK 47 with no brake, very manageable. I also got rid of the single stage trigger and put in a LaRue 2 stage for $100. The gun shoots great and within 2 MOA out to 500 yards with standard cheap M80 ball: Magtech, S&B, Amrscor, etc. But, if you are graduating from an AR 22, like hello kitty shirts, and need a leg pillow while shooting prone, the 308 cartridge won't work 🙂

Have you had any malfunctions with the stock trigger?

None whatsoever. Realistically I should have kept the stock trigger in there but I love light triggers. The stock trigger works with every brand of ammunition I can throw through there. The PSA trigger just doesn't like steel case ammo.
