Air inlet further restricted with a piece of aluminum foil.
Alcohol (Ethanol) requires less air to burn properly then white gas (benzine) or kerosene (petroleum). It also gives a lower heat output. The SiggFirejet has a controllable air inlet constrictor to allow switching between white gas and kerosene without changing the jet. Here is the same principle; white gas requires less air inlet and gives a lower heat output then kerosene. By closing the air restriction as far as possible and cover one of the remaining air inlet holes with aluminum foil the multi fuel stove can burn alcohol (ethanol). In this way the multi fuel stove becomes more multi.
Disclaimer: Burning alcohol in multi fuel stoves is usually not encouraged by the manufacturers. Reason is potential rusting of the fuel bottles.
